It’s probably just me but the Sunset art piece you posted gives off a tone of somber childhood memory.

Like sonic remembering happy times with his brother.

I really dig the artwork regardless of my weird thoughts on it though, hope to see more of this AU you got.

Those thoughts aren't weird at all, and I love that you can get a different feel for the piece other than what I originally intended but I do have to say, the feelings you get from it are pretty close to what I had in mind. Round 8 of Sugarhog-ing the redesigns! Next up on the chopping block is the Chaotix! (Or at the least the more popular members of the Chaotix. Sorry Mighty and Ray, maybe next time?)

Vector Vector is the local deliveryman, ferrying packages to and from the valley on his boat, the Chaotix. He is the adopted father of Charmy and Espio's surrogate brother of sorts. Though these days, the three are hardly in the same place at the same time.

He's a loud, laidback but hard working type of guy, trying to make ends meet with his job mostly to take care of Charmy. He also likes money so he is a bit frugal, and will take advantage of any bargain he can find. His boat, as it so happens, was also bought on a bargain.

Espio

He may be younger than Vector but often acts as the voice of reason for the more rash personality of his surrogate brother. He lives isolated from most of the valley training his body and mind for... some reason. But he still enjoys the company of others on the occasion he becomes lonely enough to venture down to the town.

Though he isn't originally from the valley, he isn't keen on speaking about his home or his past. Only Vector has been shared that secret.

Charmy

The most recent addition to Vector's little family, Charmy is a bubbly ball of energy that wants to know everything and everyone. He lives mostly on a boat with Vector as they deliver packages to many different places, as such he is already pretty knowledgeable about different cultures and even speaks a few different languages, although at a beginner's level.

When on the not traveling, Charmy is out and about soaking up all the sights so that he can info dump on Espio when they visit the valley. He has an actually decorated room in his favorite city.
