I know I run a blog dedicated to a gacha game, but... I kinda hate that gacha games are becoming a more commonplace format for otome games. Really all "free to play" mobile games are predatory but the gacha system is especially so, a system run exclusively for milking as much money as possible out of players and not good for ppl with latent/recovered gambling addictions or impulsive spending habits (like yours truly here, that ADHD money blindness really hits too hard sometimes and it's a reason I had to take a step back and let Sugar be in charge of progressing in the plot instead of me).

Like as much as I love this game and the characters, I honest to god can't recommend it to anyone bc of the format. I really hope the anime is good so other people can get into it bc there is a lot of love put into the characters, the story, the voice acting, and the art... but the format is not one I feel comfortable endorsing when it can potentially ruin lives.

Anyway, since I'm slowly recovering I'm going to officially, tentatively open my side of the imagines again. Rules are still the same, one character at a time unless it's a ship or a polyamory request (and the max is 3 in that case. Asking for MC in a sandwich with the twins is fine, asking for the whole cast in a giant fuckpile is not). I also have a new tablet so I might be drawing some stuff. I dunno, it all depends on what my schedule looks like.

I'm bored and feeling shitty so I'm gonna revisit the post and tell you my personal take on the results. It's just the brothers this time since I don't have infinite energy but maybe someday I'll do the undateables.

(By personal takes, I mean I'm probably going to drag you):

1) Lucifer:

If you identify with Lucifer, you're probably an eldest sibling too, especially eldest daughters. You definitely have anxiety and/or PTSD and are probably the mom friend. #Girlboss and I kinda envy you tbh. You could stand to be a bit nicer and less critical of your people, though. People learn better when you praise them for what they should do, not scold them for what they shouldn't.

If you wish you were more like Lucifer, you probably are a hard worker but a bit disorganized. You likely have ADHD and/or depression and struggle completing tasks but you do the best you can. Either that or you're a doormat and you fantasize about running people over sometimes.

If you want to date/befriend Lucifer, you like having someone tell you what to do and like feeling protected. You're either a little sibling or a bottom. You probably feel like you've never been anyone's first priority and you crave that more than anything.

If you want to fight Lucifer, you have an overbearing authority figure in your life, most likely a parent. Even if they're not abusive they make you feel bad about yourself. It's okay to be upset and say you deserve better, love.

2) Mammon:

If you identify with Mammon, you are the family black sheep. Probably LGBTQ+ and/or didn't do well in school, and have made some questionable life choices. You definitely dye your hair/get piercings/tattoos when something in your life goes wrong. But you, like him, probably have the most loving heart and would throw down for your people.

If you want to be more like Mammon, you're probably the more insecure and selfless type who cares too much what other people think and wish that you didn't. You're tired of being nice and want to go apeshit, but you still want to be nice anyway and care for the people you love.

If you wanna date/befriend Mammon, you are a party animal or you love bad boys with hearts of gold. You've probably been burned by someone who's too much of a goody-two-shoes and want someone a little edgier.

If you want to fight Mammon, you've probably been burned by a bad boy type or by someone who's unreliable and flaky. Maybe even had your stuff stolen by a little sibling or a friend. It's okay to enforce your boundaries, babe.

Leviathan:

If you identify with Leviathan, hello weeb! Haha just kidding. You're really insecure and probably think people don't like you. You were definitely bullied as a child and still take it personally. You are probably autistic. But you're definitely smart and passionate about your interests, so be nicer to yourself! You may not be everyone's cup of tea but you'll be someone's bottle of ramune.

If you want to be more like Leviathan, you probably wish you were smarter or think you're not as endearing as he is. I don't know, this might be a reach since I unfortunately didn't see a lot of people put him in this category. He is a very sweet boy who is open about what he likes, so I could theoretically understand the aspiration. Levi baby I'm so sorry--

If you want to date/befriend Leviathan, you want someone in your life who shares your interests and have probably been ostracized for your flaws. It's gonna be okay, you'll find your people someday! You also probably haven't had a lot of people who are very loyal to you in your life, and you want someone who will stay by your side no matter what.

If you want to fight Leviathan, you've either run into too many incels or nerd boys who called you a fake gamer because you like animal crossing. Or you just want him to love himself. Both are good and fair.

Satan:

If you identify with Satan, hello daddy issues. Probably feel like you've been unfairly compared to someone your whole life (even if that "someone" is just an ideal version of you that people created in their heads). You are probably very smart and know how to read a room, but distance yourself from people while secretly craving the unconditional love of someone who truly sees you. You also bottle up your anger until it explodes because you try too hard to please people to the point of hiding your 'ugly' emotions. Oh oops, I'm projecting... Anyway you definitely love cats.

If you wish you were more like Satan, you wanted to be the popular kid in school so bad. You tried to be everyone's friend, but people met you with nothing but cruelty. Like people who want to be more like Lucifer, you probably struggled in school and may have been a gifted kid in kindergarten but got burned out somewhere in middle school.

If you want to date/befriend Satan, you probably wish you had someone who would cut a bitch for you. Either that or it's similar to Levi where you want someone who has a mind similar to yours and shares your interests, bc I found that most people who identified with Satan also want to date him. It's sure easier to overcome the mortifying ordeal of being known when the person seeing you is just like you huh?

If you want to fight Satan... I dunno, I didn't see a lot of this in the results, so I'll just make something up: you either don't like people with anger issues due to some past trauma, or you don't like people who are fake.

Asmodeus:

If you identify with Asmodeus: WHOOOORE. Just kidding but your worst flaw is that your ass is too fat and it ruins lives. You probably take pride in how beautiful and charming you are, but you're used to being treated less as a person and more as an object or a plaything. Sometimes there's power in being seen as attractive, but sometimes you just wish people would see you as more than just a pretty face. You also fuck to survive or you're just very horny.

If you wish you were more like Asmodeus, you're a hoe (in theory). Probably horny as fuck and only get through it by crying over college AUs at 3 am. You want to be more sociable and popular but you're just so shy and wish your ass was fat. The key is confidence, babe. Even if you genuinely feel like you have nothing to be confident about, people trust others more when they act like they're the shit. If Trump can do it, so can you (and I assure you, you're way better than him).

If you want to date/befriend Asmodeus, you're a service top or you want someone confident to take care of you. You're either bi or pan. You're definitely fun as hell to be around and possibly either a fire or air sign. You definitely love his energy and probably love drama too; instead of being upset by it you're just eating popcorn in the corner.

If you want to fight Asmodeus, it's probably because he reminds you of someone fake or flakey, or you have a vendetta against the popular girls in your school. Either that or you may have suffered abuse from someone who was toxically conceited.

Beelzebub:

If you identify with Beelzebub, I am proposing ❤ But in all seriousness, you are the family peacemaker and you are DEFINITELY the cool, chill friend who just wants to love everyone. Your coping mechanisms are also pretty good and you regularly see a therapist (good for you!). Being the nicest person can be hard though, isn't it? Sometimes it seems like you're the only one making an effort and it stresses you out. You probably blame yourself when things go wrong, and take way too much on your shoulders. It's okay to rest and put yourself first, and other people's issues aren't your fault.

If you want to be more like Beelzebub, you probably want to be stronger, and me too the fuck? But you also probably feel like you're not kind enough and wish you could be kinder. Do you want to know a secret? A cruel person wouldn't worry about whether they were kind or not. The most important thing is not to avoid hurting everyone, but to acknowledge and apologize when you do.

If you want to befriend/date Beelzebub, you have good taste. You definitely love himbos, you've probably been with some toxic people and you want someone to treat you right for once. You want more than anything to have a good, peaceful life and for someone to protect you. And on the romantic end: you wanna get railed by a big buff dude. You might also be into JJBA, but you just watch it for the titties.

If you want to fight Beelzebub... why??? I have honest to god never seen this result but I can't imagine why someone would say this because 1) He's so sweet and 2) You Would Lose. Most people in this fandom who don't like him are simply disinterested in him since he doesn't inspire that kind of hatred. The only thing I can think of is that it's your kink.

Belphegor:

If you identify with Belphegor, you probably see yourself as lazy, but you're really just depressed. You're definitely a brat (in a kinky way or a normal way, you ask? Yes). You might have a bit of a petty and vindictive side, and you're extra as fuck. Definitely gay or bi because who else would have the panache. Probably have PTSD and like Mammon identifiers, definitely dye your hair when some crazy shit happens. It's mento illness luv.

If you wish you were more like Belphegor, you're either a doormat with revenge fantasies, like Lucifer aspirers, or you're tired and want to take a fuckin nap. Is it too much to ask someone to take care of you for once in your life? (Hint: it's not. If your people really love you, they'll help as much as they can. And if not-- you should learn how to self care).

If you want to date/befriend Belphegor... you're definitely a bit sadistic. Probably a top, or you love to take care of people and his cute side drives you crazy. Or you could be someone into that yandere thing, which, personally? I don't think he fits that trope at all, and I don't like it, but, to each their own I guess.

If you want to fight Belphegor, you definitely have trauma that involves someone lying to you or betraying you, and you're still angry with them. They probably haven't even apologized for it and you feel like you'll never be able to drop that grudge. No matter their motivations, they hurt you. I get it, but ask yourself if they really deserve to take up that much space in your head, okay?

So like, awhile ago I thought about doing a cover of "Read my Heart" since it's kinda within my vocal range and I love to sing. And I even wrote english lyrics bc I feel like if I tried to speak Japanese it'd be a cringefest-- I'm no good at that. But unfortunately my voice is like "Fuck you, I'm gonna crack all the time now because I hate you" so I'm probably never gonna make a cover. Especially since I don't like how my voice sounds on recording to begin with and I'd probably never post it, haha...

But I liked the lyrics I wrote and I worked really hard on translating them and trying to fit them to the syllables (even if it's somewhat of a reach in some places, and some places I was like "I can't get a direct meaning here because it doesn't work"). I also noticed there was a hidden cat pun in one of the lyrics and tried to work it in there too, haha. So, I'm gonna post them here. Anyway, ik we watch/consume the occasional problematic thing and we haven't caught any flack for it yet, but I just wanted to leave this here in case any of you were wondering about that:

But yeah, basically, we're very critical of everything we consume, even if it's relatively nonproblematic. If we continue to like a piece of media despite its less than savory elements, it's because there's something there for us that we DO like, whether that's the characters, the plot, or something else that's fun, not the problematic parts. I can assure you that we very much bitch about those, and in my experience, the people who are most critical of problematic media tend to be the fans of said media.

However, if you disagree and don't want to engage with that media because the problematic aspect ruins it for you, that's well within your right. You don't have to consume it and you are allowed to openly voice your disdain for it. All we ask is that you don't make moral judgments on us as people in regards to the media we consume bc that is complete bull. You should judge people by their actions, not the shows they like or games they play. You're allowed to not engage with us if you don't like what we post about (and we do tag it so you can block it if you wish) but coming after us is not acceptable and you will be blocked.

There is no ethical consumption under capitalism anyway and everything is problematic in some way, so it's meaningless to try and draw a line between acceptable yet flawed media and absolute irredeemable garbage bc it's impossible to get anyone to agree on that. I've heard people say that STEVEN UNIVERSE is unacceptable and irredeemable along with stuff like S*uth Park and H*zbin Hotel, so if anyone can actually get the group on here to unanimously agree about anything, we'll change our stances then, but until that day comes, we'll make our own choices and continue to think critically about everything.
