The blonde simply stuffed his hands into the pockets of his jeans. His head slightly cocked to the side as he listened to Lucas speak. Brows knit into a small scowl as he was made aware that something was wrong. A sudden protective instinct coming to light, "What hasn't been easy? Are you alright? Did someone hurt you?" he asked, the flurry of questions coming from between clenched teeth. At the mention of him wanting to take Lucas out on Valentines day, he looked away. "T-That could possibly be the case," he replied, that anger from seconds before, fading away.

Volkner:“What are you doing in the auction? You know how those things get.”

Lucas: “I merely figured I would take a girl without a Valentine on a proper date. I did not see it as a negative thing. I did not realize you would be upset,” Lucas looked to the side “Not to mention I haven’t had the easiest time lately. Things have been, bad on my end.” For a moment, idea struck him, though he could not bring himself to look at him. A blush filled his cheeks. His heart felt as if it could beat out of his chest. “Unless…to would like be my date on Valentines Day? It just did not seem like your sort of thing..”
