Hello! I was offline for a week, I was on my period and work and uni was very stressful, so I was just knocked out of the things I like in favour of keeping up with the important stuff. It's weird, when I'm on my period the effect usually is that i'm super done with everything and I can't keep up with my own standards and get angry at myself for making it so hard for me. This is what I wanna tell myself; stop being so angry 'cause you feel like you can't keep up with the hustle…

04.26.21 | Hello, everyone! I hope the past couple of weeks have been treating you all well. A number of things happened to me. There was a power interruption in my area so I had to go to a cafe in order to attend my classes & take two tests. It was the strangest experience & something I never thought would happen (but given the state of the world, it’s not even that unusual?). Also, due to the absence of my group’s actual leader for our presentation, I ended up with the position by default. Which is always great. 

I have some important exams coming up soon & I’ve just been reviewing (& panicking) for them. That could either mean more studying content from me, or complete silence for the next few weeks. If anyone’s on the same boat, good luck to you & we’ve got this!!

By the way, hello to so many new friends!! I really appreciate all of you who are following me! Gosh, I hope my posts are worth your time ♡

z o o m e s t e r ; day 8 ; What’s your take on feminism?

i'm a sociology student so it's hard not to be rambling about this for one whole essay. but genders how we perceive them - how they were institutionalized - are a product of society and thus social. unfortunately genders were institutionalized inequal and feminism helps to close this gap. i don't understand TERFs at all cause those people are not feminists by definition, they don't want to see all genders equal. i still need feminsism almost every day. i have to remind myself not to fall in specific gender-traps all the time. my dad is not a feminist and it makes it hard to talk to him sometimes. but it's even harder when people my age are not feminists. i can't talk to them, i just can for the love of god not talk to them.
