Winter has arrived and our family is loving it! Sorry for all the catching up we have to do, I was busy setting up shop and getting everything with Sage’s school arranged. But I think we’re all settled in now and we can finally enjoy hot chocolate and think about nothing at all! :D

In case you were curious about how our family business looks... well, here’s a picture! I love the shop to pieces. It makes me so happy to finally be living my dream. It still needs some work and does have its downsides sometimes - for example stress, or money worries when not enough customers are coming in! But I wouldn’t change it for the world. 

If you’re from Strawberry Acres, feel free to stop by! And if you know anyone who needs a part-time job, let them know that we’re looking for a second cashier! :)

In her free time, Sage loves to ride an play with horses. She goes to the stable at least twice a week and always takes care of her favorite horse there, Peppermint! Their bond is just the cutest thing in the world... <3

I was in the kitchen preparing some pie (and by “preparing” I mean putting the one I brought from the bakery on a plate - I can do lots of things, but baking isn’t one of them :P) when I saw Sage giving our Daisy some love. They’re so adorable! I love my girls. ♥

Hello World!

I’m Ivory Hudson, but everyone calls me Ivy.

Me and my family recently moved to Strawberry Acres, where we became homeowners.I finally started the business I’d always dreamed of owning, my very own flower shop, and it’s going great!

Enough about me, though. In this cute little picture, you can see my husband, Nate. As you can probably tell from his uniform, he works as a police officer and he loves his job very much. We’ve been married for almost 4 years now!

And that little girl being silly and hiding her face, well, that’s my daughter, Sage. She’s seven years old (I had her when I was pretty young myself) and currently attends elementary school. She’s a very smart, kind and adventurous kid and loves animals - like, for example, our beautiful family dog Daisy!

We can’t wait to share our adventures with the world! Expect to see posts about general family life, running our business and the friends we make along the way! (Maybe we’re even planning to try for a new family member soon... who knows? :P)
