hey so!

in regards to my previous post i think i will, for now, look for alternatives maybe, or just kinda stay off of social media in general for a while. either way i'm taking a break from tumblr just to only check in like every so often. i've got a tiktok, but i don't really do all that much most of the time and have only a few posts. other than that, i've just got a discord that i'll still remain active on.

i've met some really wonderful people here (@korok-seeds and @watercolorofthemoon to name a few!) and i really couldn't be happier with that <3

i thank all of you for the continued support over my art and just being here, hanging out with me, and having the patience to sift through my stupid slew of posts.

i also want to say there are so many wonderful artists on here that i've even had the pleasure of interacting with that are so amazing in everything that they do! i wish you guys luck in all that you do and i can't express how amazing you are.

to any mutuals that i haven't really spoken to much, hi! more often than not i've been extremely nervous to reach out, but if you'd like to stay in contact with me and become closer i'd love to get a dm from you and exchange discords!

all this to say, i'm extremely unhappy with the state of the world, with my own situations, with just the absolute dumpster fire filled with horrible people benefiting from horrible things, from the suffering of others, and i believe its high time for me and many others to perhaps go out into the world and find the beauty in those around us, the world around us, and the people who are safe. but ultimately never stop standing up for what is right, even if you can't spend money or call, never let these things become completely unspoken.

i love all my trans sisters; you are more beautiful and amazing than you'll ever know, even if you feel as though you are doing nothing remarkable in the moment. the same goes to any palestians who may come across this, to anyone who is being brought down by the world and the forces around them. i assure you, existing and being yourself, however that may come across, is remarkable in itself. life is fucking tough, and to anyone reading this, i'm so glad you exist in this world with me. i hope we can exist together for a very long time, whether we cross paths or not. you are amazing and wonderful and i love you even if we've never met. i hate that you have to be strong, no one should have to exert the level of effort and force just to have the right to be on this earth that so many of us have to do. i'm just so proud of you for not giving up, for being here. for surviving. and for that, i am truly proud

hey does anyone have tips on how to kinda work on getting your art all loosey goosey

i really really wanna have more fun with my art and i feel like more dynamic/fluid art direction would help but i kinda fall into pitfalls with like, finding ways to practice it that don't just require me breaking down a reference and not learning anything from it if that makes sense?

i dunno if anyone's got tips i'd love to hear them smiles
