7th Annual Christmas Day Stream (2023)!!

I'll be offering a something new this year, so please make sure you read through everything!

Another year, another Christmas Day Stream. A reminder that no matter what it is you celebrate during the holidays (or if you don't celebrate at all) you are welcome to the stream, Christmas just happens to be what I celebrate.

Every time I finish one of these cuties I’ll use a list randomizer of everyone currently in chat to pick the next winner. The winner will then have 5 minutes to respond before I pick a new one (just to keep things flowing).

To be prepared for the possibility of you winning an emoji please have references on hand! May they be other art pieces, in game screenshots, or real life pics (I do not accept AI generated images as reference). You can choose your emoji expression here or from another emoji sheet and even memes.

I’ll be going for as long as my hand/wrist/arm/body will let me.

Lazy Reflections

Smacking her lips, Berdi stretched her arms above her, knocking the pillow off of the spare mattress she was on. She stared around blankly in the dark, smacking her lips once more, trying to recall why she was so positively parched. Sitting up, she rubbed at her face and looked towards the dim glow of the fireplace. She leaned towards it, closing her eyes as she soaked in the heat radiating from what was left of the embers.

She smacked her lips again, feeling that irritable dryness. Thirst. She needed something to drink. 

Carefully crawling out from under the blankets, she stood up and squinted in the dark as she took stock of the apartment she was in. It was her first time at Sven’s and now she was recalling that her only time in here had been spent drunk and to sleep it off before she’d return to Kugane. Even now she struggled to make out details but she could differentiate a kitchenette from a table. 

Berdi took a single step towards the kitchen before looking down at her feet. Boots. She had been so lost in the drink that she had passed out in her boots. Feeling at her hips she found her chakrams, and then her jewelry. She had passed out wearing everything as if she were going to bounce up and march right out the door. She swiveled her ears, a brief look of embarrassment on her face. As quietly as she could, she unlaced her boots, setting them to the side. Her chakrams and jewelry ended up on the nearby table. Her feet padded lightly against the floor, unhindered by the click-click of boots, as she tried to sneak her way to the kitchen without disturbing the other miqo’te on the other bed. It took a few minutes of pawing around half-blind in the dark, but she was able to find a glass and fill it with water. She gulped it back, refilled it, and then brought the glass back with her, pausing at the table in the middle of the room. 

Canting her head, Berdi looked at the two porcelain birds on the table. One was blue, with white on its chest. She smiled to herself, recalling how she pointed it out and was reminded of Sven’s hair. Just as later he pointed out the bird that sat beside the blue one now. A pink porcelain with red on its stomach. Sven had said it suited Berdi. How nice it was to see them side by side. She took a sip of her water, setting the glass down near the birds.

She slinked onto the futon and ilmed her way beneath the covers but not before looking behind her towards the other bed, and the slumbering crafter. She smiled to herself, wondering if he had any idea how sweet the things he said were, or just how profoundly good he was. She wasn’t sure he had a mean bone in his body. She sunk into the bed and closed her eyes, happily drifting off.
