Yamcha simply shrugged before taking the bucket, placing it on the ground between them. Taking it off Vegeta's hands, but keeping it within reach just in case he changed his mind.

"Saiyan or not, he's still a kid..." He responded softly.

He watched as little Trunks unsheathed the prop sword, a flimsy, shiny plastic thing with no sharp edge in sight, and pointed it at the other child on stage.

"He can train any ol' time. Same can't be said for bein' a kid."

The rather tame sword fight scene began, and there was a stark contrast between Trunks and his little costar. The kid wasn't performing half bad for his age, just the clumsiness from lack of experience. Trunks had the opposite problem, confined within the fight choreography that was too basic, too restrictive for someone with his combat experience and talent. He had to be careful not to throw off the other kid on stage. A careful dance between the two. A strike just imprecise and weak enough to block without snapping either fake sword. A purposeful step just slow enough to keep up with. A defend just narrow enough to give the impression his character was in danger.

"'Sides, he's pretty good, right?"

"The boy is better off training than prancing around in that ridiculous outfit. He's a saiyan for fucks sake." Vegeta eyed the popcorn before glaring back at Yamcha.

"If you think this ridiculous excuse of food is going to make me feel any better you're mistaken, that's Kakarots department."

Though unable to keep up with the others and indeed retired from the Martial Arts scene, the average person on Earth was still frail compared to him. If he's not careful, best case scenario, someone could get injured. So best play it safe and avoid sports all together.

"'Sides, a job where I hafta socialize would do me some good, I think."

Because yes, unfortunately, that old anxiety of his was alive and well. He can talk with the girls in their large, crazy family of a clique, sure. But that was it.

So he's taken to a sort of exposure therapy. Which will totally go well, surely-

He then blinked at Goku's offer, hungover brain trying to process that, yeah, it's what it sounds like.

"Yaaaa sure, Goku?" He asked warily, "If ya don drink that much, then you'd probably be... Really limited on how much you can drink."

Now, he can test his own drinks. He knows his limits, and even if he didn't, admittedly he wasn't too concerned about his health nowadays.

He wasn't so sure about testing them on anyone else quite yet. Let alone Goku. He'd rather not give one of his best friends alcohol poisoning-

“Yeah? Can’t say I ever that you’d be the type for that, but I think it’s pretty neat.”

His tail swayed in curiosity before he hummed, head tipping to the side.

“If ya need someone else to test your drinks, I’d be happy to! I don’t drink much other than beer so might be nice to try other kinds.”
