Kääbus Linnus
For thirty years, the dwarves of Kääbus Linnus have steadily lost ground to The Enemy and its forces. The Enemy took the Seal over twenty years ago, and turned the once proud Steward's Hall into a monument of evil. Within another ten years, all of the Lower City was lost. And it seems that within the past year, the Upper City was taken.
A history of violence decorates the walls of the Upper City, and there are no signs of survivors. But there's also no signs of corpses--some, yes, but not enough. And burnt across the walls and pavement of the ruins, the shadows of the dwarves. Frozen in a moment of frenzied terror, all at once.
A variety of maps, this time! The ruins of Kääbus Linnus are a mystery. What destroyed this city? Who is 'the Enemy?' What is 'The Seal?' And how the fuck does a monorail go nearly vertical and make two 90 degree turns?
The answer is 'dwarves.'

The Kingdom of the Saints
After the deaths of the Gods, the only divine force left in the world were the fallen deities' mortal-born Saints. When the Heavenly Dynasty collapsed, the Saints held firm in the south, forming the Kingdom of the Saints as its ruling council.
Mostly just an excuse to experiment with styles, and it kinda worked! I used a lot of google translate!

Kolhdokh Peninsula
Tumblr media
South of the lands of the Tribus Monlacus, as close as humanity dares to the Southern Pole, is the Koldokh Peninsula. Between the Balencia Ocean to the East, and the Gol River and the endless White Expanse beyond to the West, the steppes of the Peninsula are home to the Brother-Nations of Zuun Ereg and Omond Khoig.
Even further South where reason ends is the Firstborne Islands and the southern tip of the peninsula; inhabited by the Freeboaters and few Domasian sailors that have broken free of the continental yoke so far from home.
I made a thing! Personal worldbuilding, and I liked how it turned out. Feel free to use at your leisure for things!
(Made with Wonderdraft, 1080p.)

Submit your itch games for trans youth!
So! My local trans youth group had its funding cut, which blows ass! I'm hoping to raise some money for them with an itch bundle early next year. If you're able to submit something (thank you!) fill out the form below!

The Gyroscopic Mechanism
Deep beneath the city walls, lies a powerful Magical Working. In happier days, it powered a protective enchantment over the entire city, preventing any hostile action from being taken against it. As long as the Gyroscope spun, the Sigorstan Walls could not fall.
But something has broken into the labyrinthian tunnels beneath the Sigorstan Walls. Something from far, far deeper down. The Gyroscope has stopped spinning.
Hello I have emerged from the Horrors that is 'Moving Across the Fucking Country,' to bring you this battle-map! Underground, damp, full of Horrors and Pipes, a fun lil time for a boss fight!
Some mechanical notes about this map for those interested, (no one tell my players what you see, its a secret for them. shhh)
2048x2048px, made with Inkarnate.
Mechanics
The Gyroscopic Mechanism must be repaired over the course of the encounter. Every turn, a character must dedicate their turn to working on it. This can be done with your system-equivalent to Arcana-checks, Craft-checks, etc, as you see fit. Set the DC as you see fit for your system and your PCs, but it ought to be difficult for them. Magic-Users can also sacrifice a spell slot to empower the Gyroscope as a 'jump-start,' giving a bonus to any rolls to repair it for that turn.
The Gyroscope requires five passed checks in total to repair it. After the first success, the arm begins to spin again, taking out anything five feet or higher in the room. At the end of every round, the arm makes a complete circuit of the room forcing a Save from anyone standing taller than five feet. (Dexterity if using 5e rules. Again, take liberties with DCs.)
Those that fail take damage as they're clotheslined by a several ton copper and steel arm, arcing with magical energy, knocking them prone. Make it hurt. On a success, they duck just in time and take no damage.

Now the resulting Barbie risk map would need to be matched up like the original, need to be a file I can print on a 20" x 30" something and so on, is that doable with your tools?
With my tools I can get you something sized for A2 paper, and can customize the resolution up some. From there it could also be up- or down-scaled as necessary and should survive reasonably well.

Hey SHC! I have perhaps a very odd request.
I am remaking a custom version of Risk for a friend. The remake part is because I am replacing the pieces, map and cards and such with Barbie themed elements. This is a gift for a friend and I am running in to a small problem. I'm not sure how to do the map so here I am! There is a particular style Risk has that I want aped with the continents replaced by various logo shapes from her favourite Barbie movies. Does this at all sound like something you coups put together with references? I'm not sure what your process or tools are so I am very unsure! If yes, I'd love to message you about it further including payment and all that important stuff!
Hey Anon, this sounds cool as fuck hell yeah. It sounds doable, but feel free to DM me with specifics, and I’ll see what I can do!
