In my ocxWesker thing, while I’m listening to Halsey’s version of Die 4 Me, I’m seeing one of those periods of Shade’s incarcerations and one in particular Shade ‘s feeling rather bitter to say the least.

All she has is time on her hands in the asylum, and all she can think of is how even after all this time, he still would rather her sit in ‘time out’ than break her out. Worst part is when he ‘visits’ to see her ‘progress’, using his credentials to get access. Is he trying to break her of her personality and spirit? Absolutely.

During one of his visits she tells him “You told me you’d take a bullet for me. I had a really bad feeling you’d be lying to me. You told me you’d die for me.”

He chuckle at her and shake his head. “Don’t you remember the mansion dear heart? I did die.”

Of course completely skirting around the fact that he most certainly did not die for HER.
