Note: Sorry I’ve been gone for so long. I stopped playing Stardew for a bit and got really busy with personal issues, work, and education. But, I’ve started working on a mini series that I hope I won’t lose interest in soon. In the meantime, here are songs that remind me of the bachelors. Fair warning, I don’t listen to a lot of heavy metal or country, and I am very very biased. Let me know what songs you would choose!

Songs That Remind Me of the Bachelors

Sam

Sk8er Boi- Avril Lavigne

- He’s literally the definition of this song

- Skater boy that’s a rock star/can sing, what more could ya want from him?

Dear Maria, Count Me In- All Time Low

- I feel like this is the kind of music or genre Sam, Sebastian, and Abigail would play

- Sometimes they’d be covers, or sometimes they’d take turns writing songs for whoever or whatever they want to dedicate it to

- I’m mostly saying this because I searched up the real meaning of this song and it’s… interesting to say the least

- Yeahh if they’ve ever sung or performed this song, it would not be dedicated to anyone in particular

Are You Bored Yet?- Wallows

- I feel like gene though this song is more about both people getting bored of the relationship, I interpreted it a slightly different way

- Sam’s the type to get a little insecure at first, or when the “honeymoon phase” has ended

- I’d like to think sometimes he’d ask you if you’re bored yet, of him, of this life, of the town

- He’s still fairly new to dating, so I wouldn’t expect him to see all of the signs at first

- And at that point you can decide whether or not to comfort him or to confront him

- …Just don’t break his heart too much for me, mkay?

Talk Too Much- COIN

- I heavily headcanon that Sam is a nervous talker

- I mean I also headcanon that he’s a talker in general, but you know what I mean

- And I know he definitely wouldn’t mind if you came in and kissed him to shut him up

Out of my League- Fitz and the Tatrums

- When Sam gets insecure, he almost never shows it unless he willingly wants to talk about it

- And when he does, he’ll shrug it off eventually and brush it aside

- In his mind, it is what it is

- You are more than just a dream to him

- He’ll never understand why you really chose him, but he’ll be the last one to complain

- He’s lucky to have you!

- Sometimes he’ll try to prove that he does deserve you though, whether it’s doing romantic gestures or playing songs in his band that are dedicated to you

- This song is a bit obvious

- Him, Sam, and Abigail cause all kinds of teenage havoc

- And they’ve definitely made a cover of this song before

- What can he say? Him and his group can scare the shit outta the adults in this town

Strawberries and Cigarettes- Troy Sivan

- Can you imagine having a last minute romantic walk near the lake mountain?

- He had a fight with Demetrius and you were there to help take his mind off of things

- He thinks your kisses are sweet, and with the mix of his smoking, you know he’ll be reminded of you

Home- Cavetown

- Seb’s home life is… complicated, to say the least

- I feel like he’d listen to his song whenever he feels down

- Sometimes with Demetrius putting him down, Maru competing with him, and his mom not really understanding him, Sebastian sometimes feels like the monster

- Maybe he’s the problem in this family. The odd one out

- If you were friends with him at this point, he’d probably go to you to take a break from everything

- He just wants a distraction from his thoughts

Harvey

Too Sweet- Hozier

- This is song is low key the reason why I wanted to write this tumblr post

- Can you imagine as a farmer you’re giving him black coffee with the most giddy look on your face?

- You walk up to him with a basket full of coffee, greet him with a smile, and gift him a cup before walking away to do your usual farmer chores

- And he just watches you walk away while a small blush starts to form

- You’ve made this doctor swoon, I’m afraid

Somewhere Only We Know- Keane

- This song gives the most Harvey vibes to me, not sure why

- In the end, I think all Harvey really wants is a simple life

- A simple, quiet, and nice life with you

- If you had so,thing serious to talk about with him, or if you just wanted to reflect on the past with him, I can imagine him wanting to go on a walk

- Going to a special place only you two know, to talk about life and everything that has happened

Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You- Engelbert Humperdinck

- When Harvey falls in love, he becomes a romantic

- And when he says you’re too good to be true, he fully believes it

- He really thinks the world of you, and will admire you

- It doesn’t really matter what you’re doing, whether you’re doing farm work, you just came back from the mines, you’re decorating the house

- Everything you do just wants him want to smile

Everybody Wants to Rule the World- Tears For Fears

- Okay this is a weird one but hear my out

- Harvey settled for becoming a doctor, but he really wanted to become a pilot

- I also feel like he has some regrets with how he took advantage of his freedom, now knowing that things didn’t go according to plan

- But seeing how becoming a doctor led him to meeting you, I doubt he has as much regrets about it anymore

Line Without a Hook- Ricky Montgomery

- This is also a weird one, hear me out

- I feel like Harvey gets a little insecure when he says things to his crush (you)

- He’ll tend to kinda talk himself through things, like how this song plays out

- And if he were to have a crush in general? It’d be pretty easy for him to become a wreck

- He’s also an overthinker, so if he sees you even slightly upset or annoyed, he’ll worry about it

- Poor guy will think he said something wrong until you explicitly say he did nothing wrong

Alex

She’s Kinda Hot- 5 Seconds of Summer

- Straight Alex would definitely listen to this song

Everybody Loves Me- OneRepublic

- I feel like this is one of the many hype songs he has for himself tbh

- Beach boi

- I feel like he’d also listen to this song while playing gridball

- And he’d definitely be listening to it after meeting you, letting his mind run wild about you and him

Shane

Talk to You- Ricky Montgomery

- So I imagined this once he starts getting to know you, the farmer, more

- He’s not as snarky anymore but he’s only just letting his guard down now

- I can just picture this song or at the very least the lyrics running through his mind as he watches you talk to other people

- My boy’s starting to develop a crush

- This is kinda self explanatory though

As the World Caves In- Matt Maltese

- I feel like he’d actually listen to this song when he’s having an all time low

- As the world caves in, he just wants to be with someone

- …maybe go out with a bang?

- Bad choice of words, I’m sorry again Shane

Interlude: I’m not Angry Anymore- Paramore

- I feel like after the 6 heart cutscene, Shane really does try to change

- And he does, he stops drinking (king)

- But he still has some leftovers bitter feelings he needs to work out with his new therapist

- I feel like this song kinda describes what he’s feeling, thinking, or saying

- He’s still a little angry but he’s trying his best

Elliot

- When he first meets you, he was more excited to make a new friend

- He had a simple life on the beach, writing his book, walking on the dock, etc.

- But when you came into his life, everything changed

- He had motivation to finish his book, he went on tour

- And it was all because of you

- He never really knew how good life could get until he met you

- His feelings for you would grow, to the point where it would feel like he was about to explode

- A simple note to a loud, powerful symphony

Until I Found You- Stephen Sanchez

- He’s a hopeless romantic, what else can I really say?

- Though bonus, I’d like to think you and him would dance to this song either at the farm or on the beach while the sun’s setting

Passing Through (Can’t the Future Just Wait)- Kaden MacKay

- I feel like this whole song’s about coming to accept how time keeps going

- Before moving to Pelican Town, I think Elliot had a hard time deciding whether or not to follow his dreams or to stay in the city

- A part of me likes to believe he for the longest time who would back on making the decision, before ultimately moving to the little shack on the beach we know now

- If he were to go back to this song, I bet he’d be humming it while walking on the dock

- The wind picks up as the music gets louder, cause his hair to dance in the breeze

Can’t talk babe, playing Stardew’s new update

Note: Midterms came and life got in the way, but now I’m back and hopefully for good! Yes, I still also have finals, but I’m slowly getting back into my Stardew phase so hopefully I stay. Anyways, enjoy!

How the Bachelors are when you’re sick:

Sam

- God he would not know what to do

- The first time you get sick, I feel like he’d internally panic and get everything from Pierre’s store to help you feel better

- After awhile he’ll understand what exactly to get you when you’re sick.

- Medicine, your favorite snacks, favorite movies, all of them

- He’d put it in a little basket too, sweet boy

- Bonus, he would not care at all about hugging and kissing while you’re sick. In fact he’d probably whine if you don’t kiss him

- In the end he would get more sick than you were

Sebastian

- he’d have a little more direction than Sam would

- He’d try to give you some medicine to help you recover, and he’d definitely get you some movies you two could watch together to pass the time

- He’d be more hesitant to cuddle though

- Physical touch has never been his strong suit in the first place

- Either way he’ll still show how much he cares, asking occasionally if you need anything or if you want him to get anything for you

Harvey

- he’s a doctor, he’s gonna immediately take care of you

- I feel like he gets a little too overprotective when it comes to your health

- I mean he’s already worried sick whenever you go on your adventures in the mines. But going sick? Not on his watch

- Unfortunately he would not even let you get out of the bed, let alone do any chores on the farm

- But its doctor’s orders right?

- Sometimes he’ll get overly technical with you about your meds, but he always means well

- If you were really sick he’d make sure to call off of work or have Maru take over for the day while he’s caring for you

Alex

- So at first he’d ask advice from his grandma.

- As much as he’d love to help, sometimes he doesn’t really know what to do to make you feel better besides medicine.

- Even with medicine he’d sometimes mix it up and get confused

- Once his grandma’s over, he’d suddenly switch from clueless to being his grandma’s helper for you

- If she’s baking you cookies? He’s getting all the ingredients and helping her mix

- Whenever she’s not over and she calls you to make sure you’re okay, Alex would be there to immediately

- Alex would also definitely help out on the farm. Moving things around, making sure the crops are watered and the animals are fed

- He doesn’t know much, but he knows you shouldn’t be doing any farm work

- And helping around the farm and carrying heavy stuff? That he knows he can do.

- Sometimes whenever he comes in from a long day out on the farm, you can see a small satisfied smile on his face

- When he feels like he’s done something to help you out, he can’t help but smile

Shane

- “Have a beer.”

- He backs off after you glare at him

- “Okay okay! Not funny, here I have some anti nausea meds if you need some.”

- He’d (begrudgingly) cuddle and hold you throughout the days that you’re sick

- He’d also run out and get some things for you if you asked, but I’m not sure if he’d go out of his way to get everything

- If you had a specific favorite or comfort food, he would pick it up though

Elliot

- Okay, imagine him reading you stories and books while you’re resting in bed.

- He’d go out of his way to get all of your favorite books and basically put on a whole play for you while reading them

- So cute

- I think he’s also be into herbal medicines from the beach or the ocean.

- Idk like seaweed soup? Something like that

- But if you didn’t like that, he would still do his best to cheer you up.

- He took on piano for a reason right? Might as well give you a small show, and from the comfort of your bed!

I have not posted in a hot minute, that’s my bad. Midterms came up, and personal business got in the way of writing.

Sam x Reader

His Insecurity

The evening breeze brought a sense of calmness with it as the farmer began to walk back from the museum.

The sun had just recently set, and you had made it just in time to donate all the new gems you found within your collection of geodes. Now, all that was left to do was to go back to the farm, check on the animals, cook dinner, and relax.

Although it was just the beginning of Fall, The Valley was already starting to cool down. The gentle wind sent chills down your spine, silently thanking Emily for giving you a spare jacket the day before.

As you were heading back, you noticed Sam leaning against the stone bridge, looking out at the trees.

It was unlike him to be out at this hour except on Fridays, when you’d see him with Sebastian and Abigail at the saloon. But it was 7:30PM, and there were no signs of him leaving anytime soon.

“Hey,” You say.

You notice him jump a little at your call, not expecting you to be roaming about at this time.

“Hey Farmer,” he greeted.

His eyes were slightly red, his hair messed up by the wind, and his expression seemed a more somber than usual.

“Are you doing okay?” You ask softly, while walking up next to him.

He hesitates before slowly shaking his head.

“Not really, no,” he responds. “I was gonna go to Sebastian’s, but it’s probably too late now.”

“He stays up for a while,” you comment while looking out at the trees. “I’m sure it’s not that late.”

Sam laughs softly.

“Yeah, you’re right. I think I just don’t wanna bother him right now.”

“Do you want me to leave you alone right now?”

He shrugs wiping his eyes and before leaning against the wall of the bridge in front of him.

“Actually, I think I’d like the company right now… if you don’t mind.”

You nods your head and put your backpack down, leaning over to the wall and looking over at him.

“What’s on your mind Sam? I’m all ears.”

“It’s just…” He sighs before continuing. “My dad’s been gone for a while now. Is it bad that I’m losing hope..?”

You frown, realizing you’ve never met his dad before.

“Back on the beach, I told you children should have hope… but I think you should too,” you say softly. “But I understand. It’s hard to have it sometimes.”

“He always comes and goes,” Sam continues while starting to grab a pebble. “It’s not his fault, I know it’s not. But it’s kinda hard, on Vincent. And mom too. It’s better to try to distract them, make them happy. That’s what I would want.”

You watch as he throws the pebble down the river, watching it bounce on the water twice before sinking.

“You know,” Sam says. “My mom thinks I get mad at dad. For leaving.”

“Why do you think she believes that?” You ask.

“I don’t know,” he answers honestly. “Sometimes she hints at it. Like how she’d say he always cared about me when we’re alone. Or bring up random memories to make sure me and Vincent don’t forget him.”

“And… are you mad at him?”

“I’m not really that mad,” he replies. “Not anymore, anyways.”

Sam takes a shaky breath, closing his eyes and looking away from you.

“I… I just want him back.”

You didn’t really know how to respond.

He was always so happy go lucky, so positive and upbeat. It was hard seeing him like this, on the brink of breaking down. Yet he was still trying to compose himself, for you.

You pulled him into an embrace and wrapped your arms around him, hearing a soft mix of a gasp and a sob from him. He hugged you back while looking up, still trying to keep his tears from staining your clothes. Still, his efforts were in vain when he felt a wave of tears beginning to rush down his face. You didn’t mind though. It brought you at ease, knowing he trusted you enough to let you see him like this.

You two stayed like that for awhile, hugging in silence as the starry night painted the sky.

“Thanks,” he said quietly. “It feels nice to talk to someone about this.”

“I’m here to listen to whatever you want to tell me,” you said reassuringly. “Whether it’s about skateboarding, playing guitar, working at Joja, or this. I’m here.”

“Thank you.”

Note: So I know the ten heart event is when they technically confess, but I wanted to make this anyways. I’m not sure if this would count as a headcanon or as one shots, I kinda combined them. I’m sure I made some longer than others. Let me know what you think!

How the Bachelors/Bachelorettes confess to you.

Bachelors:

Sam

- Sam honestly wanted to confess to you for a long time now.

- The way you made him feel was nothing like anything else he's ever felt before.

- But, to him, your friendship was the most important thing to him than confessing. He thought he was much better off being friends with you than ruining whatever you two had.

- Honestly? He wouldn't be able to forgive himself if you two stopped talking because of him.

- So, he kept quiet for awhile.

- Well, as long as he could, anyways.

- You were hanging out with him near the river. Originally you just needed a specific type of fish, but after seeing Sam coming outside to you play his video game, you decided to talk with him.

- I think the moment he saw you, he put his game in his pocket and didn’t think to take it out for the rest of the night.

- He could’ve left it by the bushes and he wouldn’t have even noticed.

- All he really cared about was sitting by the river with you, talking and laughing about something he couldn’t even remember.

- But he was with you.

- And then he’d get a little too comfortable.

- “You know, it’s kinda weird how no one’s asked you out yet,” he commented while playing with the grass.

- “Me? No, I don’t think anyone here likes me, let alone like that,” you said dismissively while laughing.

- “You kidding?” Sam exclaimed. “Everyone loves you here. You’re a catch! Anyone would fall for you, I know I am. Don’t sell yourself short.”

- Oops. Guess it just slipped out.

- Of course he wouldn’t notice at first. When Sam talks, he just kinda… talks.

- “…What..?” You said, making sure you didn’t hear that wrong.

- “I said everyone loves you!” He repeated, oblivious. “Anyone would fall for you, I…”

- Oh. Oh.

- “Uh, well…”

- It was at this point that his face would turn bright red, embarrassed that he managed to say something so big, so serious, in such a casual way.

- Only you could really break his silence after that.

- “So… you’re falling for me?”

- He knows he can’t really lie himself out of this one.

- “Yeah… I guess I am… I have been for a while, actually.”

- Your silence was what caused him to panic.

- "I didn't mean to say that out loud, I swear," he tried to explain. "I mean, I wanted to, but I didn't think you'd feel the same w-"

- He didn't realize you were leaning in until your lips touched, causing him to immediately stop talking.

- When you pulled away, it took him a second to realize what just happened.

- But when he does, he has the biggest smile on his face you've ever seen.

- “So… does this mean you like me back?”

- Hey I like to think he’s just an oblivious boy, you gotta spell it out for him sometimes. But it’s one of his charms, trust.

- But I’m sure he knows how you feel at this point. He just wants to make sure he’s not imagining it.

- “I like you, Sam,” you confirm.

- It’s almost funny how giddy he gets.

- “You do?” He said, still processing everything.

- You nod in response, biting your lip to stop yourself from laughing. I would laugh, it’s just so cute and dorky.

- “Holy shit,” he breathed. “You like me!”

Sebastian

- Sebastian’s all over the place when he thinks of confessing to you.

- He’s not really the type of person to show his emotions and express them clearly.

- But you made him wanna try to… which terrified him even more.

- But one day, after you gave him a beautiful frozen tear (they said they got it from the mines, which he wasn’t even going to question anymore), he was determined to tell you how he felt.

- It was the least he could do after all.

- So one night, he decided to drive you up to the mountain side with his motorcycle.

- “Make sure to hold on tight,” he said quietly, before beginning to drive.

- I’d like to think the farmer would start getting anxious from the silence. Although Sebastian was never really one to start a conversation, to you it seemed like he was avoiding one all together.

- Meanwhile Sebastian’s just thinking to himself, wondering how exactly he would be able to approach the topic.

- He didn’t even think of the awkward ride back if you rejected him up until now.

- Once you two make it to the cliff side, you decide to confront him about it.

- “Are you doing okay? You seem more quiet than usual.”

- He nods his head. “I’m fine.”

- That doesn’t really reassure you.

- “You know you can tell me anything right?”

- He stayed silent again, worrying you even more.

- “I know.”

- You drop the subject for now and look out to see the city lights, reminding you of the busy, never ending days you used to have.

- “I'm really glad you wanted to come here with me," he said softly while admiring the view.

- "I wouldn't miss this sight for anything else."

- "Being with you makes everything worth it."

- "You think so?"

- Sebastian gives a small smile and nods while a blush begins to form on his face.

- "Sometimes I feel so angry at everything. But when you show up, I start to calm down..." he turns to you. "I think you bring the best out of me. So, thank you."

- "You don’t need to thank me for that Seb. I like spending time with you."

- “I’m glad.”

- Both of you continue to stare out at the city lights. Internally Sebastian is struggling how to express his feelings until he finally decided to just say it.

- “Do you ever think we could be more than friends?”

- You were taken aback from the random question.

- “Well,” You said. “I think it’d be nice to, if I’m being honest.”

- He looked over at you, surprised. His surprise soon turns into a small smile, a glimpse of what he was actually feeling.

- My guy felt like he was over the moon hearing you say that.

- “Do you… ever want to go out with me sometime?”

- Uh, duh.

- “Sounds like a date,” you answer while scooting closer to him.

- He’s grinning now, but don’t let that fool you. On the inside, he’s falling for you, badly.

- “It’s new,” he said, while slowly putting an arm around you. “Being like this. It’s new… to me.”

- “Don’t worry,” You say softly while leaning into his touch. “We’re doing this together.”

Alex

- Alex had never felt this way about anyone before.

- He might’ve had something for Haley, but it was nothing compared to how you made him feel whenever you were around.

- So yeah, he was feeling a bit nervous. But he was mostly feeling excited.

- I'd like to think Alex and the farmer would flirt around with each other pretty regularly. So because of this, I don't think he'd be as worried as the other bachelors about getting completely shut down.

- He decided to invite you to the beach early in the morning. Originally he wanted to play some gridball with you, but you two would start to mess around to the point where you'd just be tossing the ball around.

- He didn't mind, of course. He liked spending time with you, especially when you two were playing sports together.

- You two ended up going in the water, throwing the gridball back and forth.

- He definitely splashed you while you were busy getting the ball after it slipped out of your hand.

- “Woah, :<name>:, why are you giving me that look?” He said, slowly backing away as you started to smirk. “You don’t need to get any closer to me you know.”

- Man who cares what he says?

- You splash him back anyways.

- And thus started a water fight, you two splashing each other for hours and hours.

- At this point it was more than a fight. It was a full on war.

- By the time you two were done, it was almost sunset.

- But neither of you cared, you two were having fun!

- “We should do this again,” he said causally while drying his hair. “You know, like a date.”

- “A date?” You asked, making sure you were hearing him right.

- “Yeah,” Alex confirmed. “You know, we’d make a pretty good couple.”

- You kinda freeze at that, at first.

- Sure, you had a crush on him, but why would you show it?

- You ultimately decide to play along, saying teasingly, “Oh yeah? And what kind of couple things would we do?”

- He just smirks at you, leaving you to scoff.

- “What?” He laughed. “You’d make a hot partner.”

- You roll your eyes and laugh, but start to calm down when seeing Alex walk up to you.

- “You know that’s not actually what I’d do, right?” He asked.

- “I know,” you responded. “You’re just joking around.”

- “No,” he says, catching your attention. “I mean, I was joking around. But I do wanna take you out on a date sometime.”

- “Do you?” You say.

- “Yeah,” he replied. “What do you say?”

- “Hm…” you said, pretending to think about it. “Pick me up tomorrow at 6.”

- You wink at him, causing him to slightly blush.

- “Don’t keep me waiting.”

Shane

- Shane was nervous, really.

- Not about messing up per say, but about embarrassing you. Putting you in an uncomfortable situation in case you didn’t feel the same way.

- He could honestly care less about what he messes up. You’ve already seen him at his lowest, and yet you didn’t run away.

- You didn’t give up on him.

- That feeling of warmth, support, and help made him realize he it’s okay to get help.

- He wanted to help you too. He wanted to be there for you, comfort you when you cry, everything.

- So, he went to you.

- Flowers in hand, he walked over to the farmhouse and knocked on your door, anxiously awaiting for you to answer.

- In that moment, his mind started spiraling with second thoughts. “What if they don’t feel the same way? What if this goes horribly wrong, and they start avoiding me?”

- His legs are frozen in place, but his mind kept throwing second thoughts at him left and right.

- He turns around to see you walking back from the bus. You’re smiling at him curiously.

- “Whatcha got there?” You say while leering over to take a peek.

- “Don’t worry about it,” he says dismissively while hiding the flowers.

- You peer over to take a peak, causing him to roll his eyes and to give you the flowers.

- “Just picked them as I was coming here,” he muttered while handing them to you.

- You smile in response.

- “The Shane? Giving me flowers? What is it, my birthday?”

- “Mm, you wish.”

- He’s not that good at uh… positive, feelings.

- “Listen, I was thinking…” Shane started to say. “There’s a game later this weekend. I was wondering if you wanted to go with me.”

- “Me?” You say curiously. “I would’ve thought you were going to invite Marnie or Jas to come.”

- “Yeah well, they’re not really into that sort of thing,” he grumbled. “Plus… I wanted to kinda thank you. Treat you out or something.”

- “If I didn’t know any better, I would think you were taking me out on a date,” you tease.

- He’s blushing like crazy now.

- “If you want it to be…”

- You blink, taken back by his rather bold answer.

- “Shane, are you asking me out on a date?”

- “I mean… you’ve helped me through a lot. Even if you don’t feel the same way, I wanna try to take you out as a thank you.”

- You smile warmly at him.

- “It’s a date then.”

Elliot

- Okay I’ve been looking forward to this one cause I really didn’t like his ten heart scene. IMO though.

- Elliot really wanted the way he asked you out to be perfect.

- Like, movie perfect. When the two main characters finally confess their love for each other and kiss while the camera slowly pulls away, showing the beautiful setting they found themselves in.

- He’s a day dreamer alright.

- Of course he had the doubt of you not feeling the same way, but he had to do it.

- As he would say, “My heart cannot bear this any longer.”

- So, he decided to write you a letter in the mail.

- “Dear :<name>: Meet me by the pier at 5PM. I have a surprise waiting for you. I hope to see you soon.”

- When you arrived, you were pleasantly surprised to see him sitting down on a blanket, with two wine glasses in the middle and candles scattered across the pier. The old rowboat that was near his house was now on the water, a rope tying it to the pier.

- “What’s all this?” You ask curiously while looking at the candles.

- “I felt compelled to do this for you, as a thank you,” he explained. “Come, sit with me.”

- He clears his throat a little while you sit down next to him.

- “:<name>:, you’ve supported me and my career when no one else did. You were the one to give me that push to finish my novel. So, thank you.”

- “You are a great writer, Elliot,” you say in response. “I’d be a fool if I didn’t support you.”

- He blushes slightly while giving you a small smile.

- “I thank you, nevertheless.”

- He picks up the two glasses and pours a little bit of wine in each glass. He holds one out to you and you take it, smiling at him before taking a sip.

- The two of you take in the nice cool breeze from the ocean and enjoy the moment.

- “:<name>:?”

- You look over at him.

- “I have a confession to make.”

- “What is it Elliot?”

- His heart is pounding at this point.

- “This Valley didn’t feel like home to me when I first came here,” he tried to explain. “Now, it finally does… :<name>:, I’m not sure how put this into words, for once I’m at a loss…”

- You wait for him to finish.

- “I have deep feelings for you,” he said slowly. “Since the moment you walked into the saloon, I’ve had them for you. And I cannot express how happy I feel when I’m with you.”

- Swoon

- “Will you do me the honor of going out with me..?”

- Well? What are you waiting for??

Note: Thank you for the love on my last post! I’m not sure if this one is as good since I’m not that good at writing bachelorette headcanons. I’m working on it though! I opened requests in case anyone wants to send anything.

When the Bachelors/Bachelorettes realize they have a crush on you:

Bachelorettes:

Maru

- She’s the type of person who loves working on and sharing her projects with other people.

- So when you started showing interest in her inventions? She‘a not complaining, but she’d be lying if she said she expected the new town farmer to be interested in mechanics.

- Still, she was exhilarated to show off her smarts and skills to you.

- You were always super friendly and really nice, at least with her. And she appreciated that.

- It would get to the point where she would randomly spot you by the community center or up by the mountains and ask to get your opinion on something she’s working on.

- She starts to really care about your opinions and critics, mostly because you find a way to be gentle about it but still be able to tell the truth.

- She’d start making little trinkets and gadgets to try and help you out on the farm afterwards.

- It was a way to show you she cares!

- …Maybe in more ways than one.

Leah

- You occasionally see Leah painting or admiring the view on the beach, the forest, or the lake.

- She loves the outdoors, just being outside and being in the moment while the breeze hits her face is what makes life worth it for her.

- She was always a friendly person, but once you started showing interest in her art she began talking to you some more.

- I’d like to think one day, you’d introduce her to the secret forest past the wizard’s house.

- After she watched you take on the slimes, she’d look around the forest in awe.

- “This… this is breath taking…” She’d say. “Do you come here often?”

- Ever since then, you two would plan to go to the forest together every week or so.

- Sometimes she’d bring some paper and paint with her so she could try to capture the natural beauty.

- But whenever she’d try to, she wouldn’t be able to paint it without picturing you with her, admiring her work and talking to her about your life before moving, and how much better it has gotten.

- You were all she could think about.

- She wouldn’t be able to get you out of her head for a while after that.

Penny

- So, Penny was always pretty shy around you.

- A new farmer, going out of their way to talk to her and get to know her?

- She was very overwhelmed.

- Slowly but surely, she would start talking to you, and she would begin to feel more comfortable around you.

- When you ended up talking to her about Jas and Vincent’s favorite gifts, you started to catch her attention.

- “Vincent’s favorite thing is snails right? I’m not sure if Jodi would approve, but I got a bunch that he could pet or play with if he likes that.”

- “Hey, can I come by later today to give Jas some cake? I remember Marnie mentioning she really liked cake, and I wanted to try to bake one for her.”

- The way the farmer would talk so fondly and kindly about the kids made her realize she really wanted to get to know you better.

- And when you began talking about how important education is?

- And especially when you’d listen to her venting about Pam’s drinking without any judgment?

- Yeah, she’s definitely going to go out of her way to see you a little bit more now.

Abigail

- Abigail’s hobbies are a little different compared to the other bachelorettes’ personalities. She’s not like other girls.

- She loves anything that has to do with adventure, and if she’s being completely honest, she was disappointed when someone moved into that old abandoned farmhouse.

- Not like she held it against you though. It was just one less place to explore for her.

- However, she notices a lot of things. And the new farmer carrying around a nice looking sword caught her eye.

- Ever since she approached you about it, you two have been talking nonstop about your adventures in the mines.

- It wasn’t until she went down with you when she realized just how brave you were, putting your life on the line to protect her and to let her see and fight the monsters lurking down below.

- Brave, awesome, amazing.

- And you were into video games on top of that?

- She was done for.

Emily

- Magical gem girly.

- If she were to fall for the new farmer, she would need the new farmer to be just as into crystals, auras, etc.

- You two would be able to talk about tarot cards and magical crystal abilities day in and day out.

- It’d definitely be a nice refreshing change to cleaning up for Haley, walking around the town, and working at the saloon.

-I’d like to think one day she invited you over to her house to read your palms at night.

- and unexpectedly, she’d get a little distracted by how soft her strong your hands were from working on the farm.

- Something about holding your hand in hers felt right.

- “So what’s my life line Em?” You’d say, interrupting her day dream.

- “…Hm? Oh, yeah. Let me see…”

- Her face was definitely red for the rest of the night.

Haley

- Haley never liked you at first.

- I mean, it wasn’t like she hated you, exactly. You were just another person moving to this boring old town without any malls to go to or friends to hang out with.

- She only really started to talk to you after you open a jar for her.

- I’m sorry, I just think she’s a bit superficial at first.

- Who was she to ignore a strong guy/gal?

- But after finding her great grandma’s bracelet in the beach and cheering her up a bit, she starts to open her mind a bit more.

- She hasn’t had the worst life, in fact she’s had a pretty great one. So she wasn’t the type to vent or look back in the past and have a lot of regrets.

- …But it still felt really nice to have someone there to listen when she felt a little sad…

- She may need to rethink some things after talking to you.

When the Bachelors/Bachelorettes realize they have a crush on you:

Bachelors:

Sam

- You two definitely were friends for a while until he realized his feelings for you.

- And honestly, he seems like the oblivious type to me, to the point where if someone flirted with him, he’d take it as a compliment and move on.

- With you however, it’s different.

- Any kind of flirt, tease, or joke would put a slight blush on his face.

- At first he didn’t really know why, you were his friend, and just his friend. Right?

- He just felt really comfortable with you, like he could talk about anything and you would just continue the conversation without any hesitation.

- In my opinion, he would start realizing his feelings for you once you started trying some of his hobbies. Like skateboarding.

- “Sam! You did a kick flip!”

- He’d have a huge grin on his face.

- “Yeah! I did!” He turns to you, his excitement taking over. “Do you wanna try?”

- Whether you knew how to skateboard or not, it wouldn’t matter to him. He’d teach you, skate with you, and try to impress you with his killer moves.

- Bonus points if you end up singing or playing an instrument with him. He would literally swoon.

- Whatever you wanted to do with him didn’t necessarily matter though. What really mattered to him was that you wanted to do it with him.

Sebastian

- When you two first met, he honestly didn’t think much of it.

- Like “Oh, a new farmer, cool.” And would shrug it off.

- But once you started visiting him, bringing him food and talking to him, he eventually warmed up to you.

- I think the moment you two really clicked, was when you would talk about your personal lives in front of the mountain lake.

- Although Demetrius wasn’t the worst dad, he definitely wasn’t the best. Constantly showing favoritism towards Maru, ignoring Sebastian, and bashing his work ethic.

- It was too much for Sebastian.

- He went to go out to smoke near the lake and there you were.

- “Hey Seb.”

- “Oh. Sorry. Didn’t realize you were here.”

- His eyes are still a bit red and puffy.

- “Are you okay…?”

- He wouldn’t respond at first, shoving his hands into his hoodie pockets.

- “It’s fine. I was just leaving anyways I-“

- He stops when you sit down on the grass and pat the spot next to you.

- “Come sit with me.”

- He ended up venting the entire night, finally opening up about himself to you. Once he realized, he was deathly afraid of your response. What you’d think. What you’d say.

- But when you comforted him, actually listened and sat down with him, a huge weight he didn’t know he had was lifted off of his back.

- It was refreshing to him, to have someone who’d listen and sit in silence with him.

- He wouldn’t mind having you around as much anymore. Hell, after that night, he’d sometimes go out of his way to see you more. To show his thanks and appreciation. And maybe even more.

Harvey

- I think we all know Harvey is very, very shy when it comes to love or romance.

- In fact he’s shy around the town in general.

- When you first come to town, you can see that he clearly separates himself from the community unless he’s either working or exercising. But even when he’s exercising he doesn’t really socialize.

- Once you start helping him open up, going at his comfortable pace of expressing himself and socializing a little more, he’ll realize you’re not like the rest of the townsfolk.

- He’s not the type to go out of his way to talk to everyone, and in response not many people go out of their way to talk to him.

- But when you come by, coffee in hand, he doesn’t freeze up or feel uncomfortable around you.

- He does eventually start freezing up around you when he becomes self conscious and anxious about his own feelings.

- But you bring the best out of him after all. Why should he be afraid of that?

Alex

- I’m a little split on this boy.

- Because George isn’t exactly accepting of gay marriage at first, I think Alex might think similarly at first. It’s just the way he was raised.

- So if you are a girl, he would definitely throw out harmless flirts and pick up lines.

- If you are a boy however, I think he’d just hang out with you and spend time with you without the flirts/sexism.

- Regardless of gender, I think he’d start realizing his feelings later on.

- Opening up about his mom and his dad, talking about sports, thinking more and more about farming.

- Your support towards him becoming pro, you being there for him when others weren’t, and sunshine energy is probably what draws him to you more than anyone else (cough cough Haley).

- After your support, your comfort, just your presence. I’m sure that’s when he starts thinking more about the future, and how you’d play a part in it.

- Also side note, I think he starts reading and exercising his because because of you and I think that’s adorable.

Shane

- Honestly, I think it would have to be during his six heart scene, or at least the aftermath of it.

- What can I say, I’m unoriginal.

- All I can imagine is after Harvey pumps his stomach and he’s awake, he’s staring up at the ceiling, wondering to himself, “Why did they stop me?”

- He would eventually come to the conclusion that you, the farmer, cares about him.

- Like, actually cares about him.

- Ouch.

- But seriously, he would not be able to wrap his head about why you would stick by him, even at his lowest.

- It would take him a couple of weeks to really accept it.

- But after he does, he starts to fully embrace it and begins to change for the better. To finally quit drinking once and for all.

- Everytime he sees you, you’d be able to see his face light up a little.

- “Hey farmer. I just wanted to thank you for everything. I really needed that wake up call.”

Elliot

- As much as he loves romance stories with huge revelations and dramatic gestures, the way he realized he liked you wasn’t exactly huge.

- It was just how much you’d come over to support him, to talk to him and to make sure he wasn’t too lonely on the beach.

- Sure, he’d go to town to visit Leah, or to go to the saloon for a drink or two, but no one really came to him.

- It was such a nice surprise to see someone making their way to him, especially if their farm is across the town.

- Your support was what made him swoon.

- “Elliot! This draft is so good!”

- “The way you wrote this out was so beautiful and detailed, I felt like I was within the book.”

- “You’re an amazing writer Elliot.”

- He’s never had this kind of support back in the city. So to hear someone else, also from the city, talk so positively about him and his book?

- Let’s just say he had a lot more romantic book ideas in mind for the next few weeks.
