Our 2022 Family Reunion Road Trip was amazing. Drove over 3100 miles through 5 states. The Estes Park KOA might be the best on the planet. The owners are amazing. We got to spend so much time with family and no trouble on the road. Only 1 road closure detour, but that led us to an Alligator sanctuary in southern Colorado. Best Road trip ever. I’m not an environmentalist by any stretch of the imagination, but @rei seem like a bunch of hypocrites to me. This box contained over 32ft of green paper. Was it protecting an Faberge Egg? Nope, it was protecting a puffy coat that requires absolutely no protection. Such a waste of materials and time of the disgruntled worked that packed it. 10 years ago today I quit my great paying job at Spinmaster Toys, to do my own thing. Feels like yesterday, but also a lifetime of stuff has happened. We’ve had 2 kids and lost 2 cats, so lifetimes have actually started and ended. Everyone knows the last 2 years have been a complete shit show. No conventions, many small businesses have disappeared. We have music playing constantly in our house. Apparently we use Spotify more than 94% of the US. We’re in the top 0.0005% of @punkrockfactory listeners. They released Masters of the Uniwurst, which I bought digitally, CD, and Cassette. It was the best way to introduce my kids to tons of classic cartoons. Clark made us listen to Life is a Highway over and over again to hear @adrian_aws sing his part. Long time, No post. Almost exactly 1 year ago @dketoys recommended some of my toys to a Set Decorator for this Capital One commercial. It was so long ago, that I figured it never got made. These are probably the craziest toys I’ve every purchased. These 5 MASK toys come from a warehouse in Chile, where they sat for over 30 years. They’re in perfect condition. They aren’t top tier characters, but it is still such a cool story. Made in Macao, Hong Kong, Mexico, and China.
