i really have a thing for spock being a bit of a blushing virgin; so shielded from everything sex-related by his conservative vulcan upbringing. one day, for whatever reason, he walks into the ship's gym to find kirk there, sparring. while everyone else wears the typical starfleet issued fitnesswear, jim has opted to only wear those tight red pants. spock has a *reaction* to seeing his captain in those pants. he decides to start visiting the gym regularly to observe jim, for research purposes of course. nothing else. totally.

Captain Spock of the Sh’rel, ehhh? [a k/s fic prompt]

Remember the alternate timeline in SNW 'Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow' where La'an appears on the Enterprise bridge when Kirk is contacted by Vulcan Captain Spock asking for help to fight the Romulans?

What if Kirk doesn't die when he gets shot in the past, and La'an is able to transport an injured Kirk back to his timeline--only the device doesn't deposit them on the Enterprise but close enough: on the Shi'rel. La'an has to get back to her own timeline, so she drops Kirk off in Captain's Spock's arms, telling him to please take care of him because in another reality they're all Starfleet officers so she trusts him to do the right thing and get Kirk back to his ship, although she can't say more. The device then takes her back to her Enterprise with Pike and her Spock as it does in the episode.

Captain Spock is confused because, from his perspective, only moments ago he'd ask Kirk for help and been rejected. But he takes Kirk to sickbay, where the Vulcan healers are able to save his life.

Once Kirk is awake, Spock renews his plea for help fighting the Romulans. Given his strange and impactful time-traveling experience, Kirk decides to reconsider. An alliance is formed...

I posted this for the spring fever event but I wanted to share it here too.

So we know in tos that Jim did a stint teaching at the academy. Gary Mitchell even said that in his class you either think or sink. He also apparently pointed some attractive woman his way in hopes of distracting him, presumably to make the class easier. Jim protests that he almost married her when Gary confesses to this.

So I’m thinking AOS, where Jim joins the academy when he would have in tos or even earlier. (If Chekov can join at like 14, Jim can too.) and he also does the teaching stint. At the same time as Spock.

Just imagine it. Jim and Spock as the youngest, smartest, and hottest professors at the academy. Maybe introduced at first because they are each other’s only peer. Seriously. No one else can keep up with them, half their students are older than them, and their coworkers are twice their age. But they hit it off and are soon practically living in each other’s pockets. If you need to find one of them, look for the other type of thing.

And maybe a bunch of cadets try to pull a Mitchell and get them together in hopes it will distract them and make them merciful on the finals.

So I was thinking about that Rifftrax'ed part of Star Trek V The Undiscovered Country, wherein Spock says "Please, Captain, not in front of the Klingons," to which Kevin Murphy adds "But if I ever get you in front of the Romulans I will shake the paint off your walls."

And I was thinking: Established relationship. They're staying somewhere (off ship?) and they realize wherever they are has been bugged by Romulans who are spying on them. Because they're already together they have a bond and can communicate without speaking, so they chat mentally, like, OK, we shouldn't say anything we don't want them to know, but we also don't want them to know we know we're being listened to- and so it may also be an opportunity to feed the Romulans false information.

How can they make it seem like they don't think they're being spied on? Have noisy sex, talk about fake missions (or whatever false info they want to spread), have more noisy sex. Because obviously if they thought they were being listened in on, they wouldn't have sex, right?

Initially they do this as subterfuge but they end up really getting into it (including Jim saying kinda praise-kink-y things, knowing it'll all go on record somewhere, and Spock at first is kind of shy about this but then finds it hot).
