everyone's always making these lovely well thought out meta posts or great dissertations regarding supernatural characters meanwhile I'm in my dumpster making a Chuck and Adam roommates au about them getting reluctantly attached to each other after mutually losing everything

The thing about Lucifer is he was SO alone for SOOOO long. Like the way time in Hell works just stretched out and out. And he spends so much time thinking about the prophecy, about how he'll get free. He spends so much time thinking about his vessel. it's the only fixation in his head on a person that isn't revenge. He spends so long waiting for and wanting Sam. And Sam let him out in the end yes, but it's rejection after rejection and suddenly Sam is the one trapping him all over again. Like he's so obsessed with Sam yes. So bitter and angry and resentful. But he's been obsessed with Sam well before Sam was ever born.

i don't get to have opinions about stuff that happened in late seasons but i have gathered that lucifer appears to sam as young john in baby, and i gotta say. from where i'm standing. shoulda been mary.

#personally I'm of the mind that Lucifer should've just kept appearing as Jess #haunting sam driving him mad #especially during the hallucifer arc #embodying the representation of the person that sam lost and the driving force behind him getting pulled back into hunting #keep him on his toes yknow unable to move on just like Lucifer never will

sorry i wanted to keep it personal for me and my friends but here is a transcript. i asked him to do adam saying goodbye to michael in 15x19. i left it open to him for if he wanted to do the goodbye as lovers or best friends and maybe i’m biased but i view it as long-time lovers. i also didn’t give him a script so all this is his own:

adam: what don’t you get? it’s funny. michael: what? what’s funny about a moustache? adam: it’s funny! look at us, we look ridiculous! michael: yeah. yeah, we look ridiculous. let’s shave it. adam: [laughing] oh no, no, no. [looks around, confused] do you feel that? michael: what? adam: something weird’s happening. michael: [dreadfully] ... no... adam: you don’t think... [michael sighs and mumbles incoherently] adam: [realises he’s gonna die] well, it’s goodbye, isn’t it? michael: [resigned] ... yeah. adam: well, came a little sooner than i thought, but um, time to go to that big diner in the sky, i guess. michael: [sadly] ... yeah. adam: i just wanna say one thing. michael: what is it, bud? adam: [suddenly bursts out laughing] you’re a hell of a guy! [and adam keeps laughing while michael glares at him in a ‘take this seriously’ way, but then michael cracks and he grins] michael: that’s good.
