Guys I think I'm a little obsessed with Halo's Charlie... 😨😳

I'm not completely sure but something about her AU design gives off a completely different vibe and personality while staying within the image of her canon design and makes me feel so happy and silly on the inside 🤗💞

I LOVE THE AU TOO!!! I need to know more about the Halos,,, howd they get together and what's Charlie doing after she got kicked out of heaven?? Are they business partners like the Vee's who run different industries and own a bunch of souls??? I would totally read a fic for this idea it's so cool... I might draw swap Velvette after this-

i actually have already! i've written veeswap lyrics for ready for this, here they are:

What is your opinion on Valastor (Valentino x Alastor)?

well first of all, i see alastor as aroace, so i'm generally not a fan of any alastor ship (the only exception is radiostatic, though i generally prefer it as either one-sided on vox's part or the world's weirdest qpr) putting that aside though... in canon, i just don't see how valastor would work without significantly tweaking one or both of their personalities? i personally think val is the type of person that alastor prefers to stay far far away from. no offense to those who ship it, it's just not really my thing in the veeswap au though i'm more open to it. val and alastor's relationship is very different there, they're actually close friends and i enjoy their dynamic. i like to joke that al is an honourary member of the vee polycule because he's very close with all three of them. but regardless, val and al's relationship in the veeswap au is purely platonic because of the aforementioned me seeing al as aroace

For the VeeSwap AU: How do the songs "More Than Anything" and "More Than Anything (Reprise)" go?

they dont LOL i really cant see vox and adam (and lute possibly? im still on the fence about whether i want her there in ep 5) singing that kind of song, i think their reconciliation is just dialogue in the au, or at least a different song while more than anything (reprise)... you know actually maybe it happens? but its moreso vox and velvette mutually reassuring each other rather than just velvette comforting vox. because they're both rly worried about the battle and stuff. overall in the swap au vox and velvette are more like equal protagonists rather than having one be the protag with the other supporting them

hello!! thank you, i'm glad you're enjoying the au :D yeah al is basically constantly seething because he hates being under someone's thumb SOOOO much. he avoids husk as much as he can, which is not much because husk spends a lot of time at the bar and his favourite hobby is getting on alastor's nerves.

Hi! So I was wondering what Swap!AngelDust and Swap!Val's relationship is like? For example, does Angel do the whole 'I own you, you do what I say!' or is it toned down?

yeaaah as i've mentioned in a previous ask, swap!angel isn't much better than canon!val. i like to think he doesn't sa his thralls, because although this is a villainous version of him, it still feels wrong to make any version of angel a perpetrator of that kind of stuff. but he still abuses his employees physically and financially, and is generally a controlling asshole much like canon!val

i really love @greykolla-art's artstyle, so i wanted to try imitating it! i picked barnaby and fantoccio from billie bust up as my subjects :) the coloured lineart looks quite strange because black lineart is such a huge part of the signature look of grey's art, but barnaby looks weird with black lineart LOL

some Cool Staticdoll Facts, coming right up! - they have seperate rooms at the hotel, on top of a shared bedroom (the bedroom later also becomes val's when they start dating him). it's best this way, because while they of course enjoy spending time together, they each also like having their own space (plus their tastes in interior decoration are completely different)

- they had a similar arrangement back in their old apartment

- speaking of said old apartment, it took them super long to confess to each other because of their living situation. basically, when they met, vox let velvette live with him since she was homeless at the time (her home got caught in the crossfire of a turf war shortly before the extermination where they met, it was why she was out during the extermination in the first place). so since they were living together they were both super scared of confessing bc if their feelings were not reciprocated then it'd be EXTRA awkward. - velvette eventually got a new apartment bc she values her independency, but ended up still living with vox most of the time anyway bc she liked it <:]

- velvette didn't really have any friends before vox. sure, she had mutuals, and acquaintances, but vox was her first true friend (she didn't have true friends on earth either - she was a popular mean girl type who peaked in high school and died in her 20's)

- vox is amazing at talking fast, patter songs, tongue twisters and the like. velvette is terrible at them. it pisses her off so much

- vox is self-conscious about the fact that he can't kiss people properly bc his stupid face is a flatscreen tv, but velvette LOVES his demon form. his kisses give that uhhh. fuck the english word for it escapes me at the moment, but when you take off a sweater for example and the electricity does a little 💥💥💥💥. they give that kind of effect and vel loves the sensation

as for whatever it takes, i remember deciding at one point to cut velvette from the veeswap version of that song and leave it as a carmilla solo, but for the life of me i cant remember why? so i guess i havent thought about it yet!
