Going feral at the idea of Tom just doing normal Muggle stuff like learning to drive, looking absolutely smug when someone asks why or when did he even learn how to drive, or simply cooking because he has good taste

"Riddle? Is that... a car?" Asks Damian with a confused yet intrigued expression as he looks at Tom, looking elegant as always while Ham stops to talk to someone else

Tom nods politely, looking at Han before his gaze returns to Damian "Yeah." He says with a small shrug of his shoulders "I wanted one so I decided to go for it, plus I got it for a good price"

Damian blinks, surprised at the fact that Riddle - someone who saw Muggles as a curse - now is seemingly comfortable with their technology

Or drinking and smoking because it makes him look elegant/mysterious, but he can't hold his alcohol and Han is forced to basically pick him up so he stops

Han sighed before finally approaching Tom, who was sitting in one of the farthest couches in the room, the few who tried to approach him to hopefully woo him having long gone as a drunk Riddle is a brutally honest Riddle

Not to say very moody and with less inhibitions, another thing that would explain why - as soon as Hannibal approached - him he lit up like a Christmas tree and dragged her to his lap. Engulfing her in the biggest and messiest hug ever along the way and looking very happy about that

After that he proceeded to press his cheek to the side of her head and promptly fall asleep, drunk but happy

He'd drop everything pretty easily tho, at his pace as Han is patient and doesn't push him (Let me dream, besides the Han au doesn't follow completely canon so fuck it)

Han grimaced as soon as she stepped home, Tom lazily sitting at the windowsill and taking a drag of his cigarette, their cat Salem instantly running to her the moment he heard the door close

The cat, who just came out of his hiding spot, ran straight under her coat to hide "Salem, baby, you don't like the smell?" She says with a small chuckle, absentmindedly. Tom finally notices her arrival after hearing her words, look at Han as she cuddles Salem under her coat, and almost instantly a thought strikes him

Without saying a word he swiftly takes out the cigarette and walks to the kitchen, thrashing the rest of the packet, without a second thought. Han looks at him in surprise as he does so, she never asked him to stop nor even complained yet here he was : just throwing them out like nothing

Tom doesn't approach Han or Salem until he has showered and changed clothes, falling asleep on the couch contently with Salem on his chest that night, the smell of cigarettes long gone by that point

Hannibal serenading Tom out of nowhere and Tom, begrudgingly having picked some meme culture from her, dueting her when she starts singing Careless Whisperer

Ending with the both of them dancing like two fucking idiots in the hallways as the other students watch in utter confusion at the scene

Also Han going 'Tom start playing my heart will go on flute edition' whenever she doesn't feel good and Tom nodding solemnly, picking up her MP3 and actually putting it in the background because he's absolutely clueless to what irony or sarcasm is

This is the shit I come up with at 2 in the morning but I got that damn song in my head

Hannibal sighed, head snapping instantly to the sound of footsteps, glaring murderously at the figure approaching her under the tree

"Damian if I find out you fucking slipped-" "Calm down Han" interrupted Damian chuckling quietly before looking down at her in amusement, a lazy smile on his lips, Han swore she would fucking punch his smile and damn dimples one day if this kept going on

She sighed again and tried to calm down before looking back at Damian, this time with less will to strangle the Slytherin, and people were afraid of Riddle...

"Pray tell then what the everloving fuck happened, Damian" she demanded, calmly and coldly, Damian shuddered at her tone before coughing in his fist and looking away. He waited a few seconds, the wind softly rustling the leaves of the tree Han was laying under

Tom, as if sensing the discussion was about him, just wrapped his arms tighter around Han's middle. His face nuzzling her stomach as he lays curled contently in her lap, having glued himself to her side ever since Lunch and raising more than a pair of eyebrows in the Great Hall at how clingy and whiny he acted

At last, Damian finally speaks up "It's kind of a funny story and good blackmail material for you" he offers with a small smirk, Han narrows her eyes before nodding "Go on, I'm all ears"

Tom almost absentmindedly stirred the cauldron, reading the potion book as Damian grabbed the last ingredient, once back at the desk he stops Tom's hand and pours the last ingredient. He silently looks over Tom's shoulder and mentally checks if they were done

"Just a few minutes and then we can see if it's an utter disaster or we could make great potion partners" Damian says with a lazy smirk, but Tom merely nodded in acknowledgement. For a brief moment he finally looked at the potion, just in time for Damian to give him a thumbs up, Tom immediately removes the ladle from the cauldron and - distracted - cleans it

Damian goes dead silent as Riddle silently puts the ladle in his mouth, then tries to not laugh to the point of biting his hand, almost pissing himself at how unfazed Tom looks... even after ingesting a love potion

Tom blinks before looking at Damian, absolutely clueless of what he just did "What?" he frowns. The other Slytherin looks at Tom with a tilt of his head, wondering if they busted their potion as it had no effect on Riddle... only to get the highest vote at the end of the lesson

Once class is done he almost forgets about the accident, until he hears students talk even before Lunch

He knows Han won't let him live this one down

"Wait," frowns Han, absentmindedly running her hand through Tom's hair, making him sigh in his sleep "he didn't do anything after assuming the potion?"

Damian nods "He went on as if nothing happened... well until this" he points at Tom, still sleeping in her lap as if it was the most natural thing in the world. Han massages her forehead with a frustrated sigh, then glares suspiciously at Damian

"You didn't feed him anything? Or maybe you saw someone else" he shakes his head in response "Nope, all Riddle. I don't think he even realised he did that"

Han ponders on that for a short while "You still owe me one, you could have stopped him at any time!" she huffs but Damian just waved her off with a small chuckle

"And miss this show? Hell no, well... good luck with that, you'll need it love" he winks at Hannibal before walking away happily, a skip in his steps, halfway puzzled about the situation

For a brief moment he thinks about what he had found on Riddle long ago, more specifically on the speculations around his birth and the presence of a love filter in the entire situation - he thought the entire argument was stupid but Riddle's behaviour was... interesting to say the least

Han merely grumbled as Damian walks away, silently glaring at him before looking back down at Tom, wondering why he apparently went straight to her after assuming the love potion

In my mind Han is the psycho that tries to taste potions, that bad habit unconsciously bled to Riddle - she stops after that also Damian my beloved

You can tell I would stab the love potion background if possible, but since this is an odd AU I have in mind I'm just gonna twist things until my brain says it's acceptable enough

In the Han lore he spread pretty early on what he got on Riddle to the other students thus making things a bit more challenging, at some point Han is tired of his shit and punches him, they become besties after that

Guy is a pureblood, he has a little sister who is his carbon copy and that he loves dearly (the doll is hers but she hides it in his things claiming it will protect him in Hogwarts), probably an animagus and dunno I'm going to sleep
