i return.... to express my eternal grievances. sorry but it’s got to do with the character that is my muse here so why it’s here. you can read or  not it’s your choice. regardless i hope you have a lovely friday and weekend.

so i’m eternally exhausted by the whole character slander that those who hate uget/su (usually of the ones who don the ‘h0rnee ak/iharu shippers’ title tbh) tend to portray onto him. basically they refuse to accept uget/su moving on from aki and refuse to even hold aki accountable for his parts in their relationship prior to the breakup to make him the ‘perfect victim’ which is just disgusting to think of  as an abuse victim myself.

i’d been living in blissful ignorance for the longest  while but then the slander popped up on my tl claiming uge/tsu has never moved on from the breakup and he still want’s aki in that way simply because--and i quote--he smiled at aki’s text in his own emergence bonus comic.

something most ppl forget is while aki was indeed uget/su’s first love and boyfriend he was also his first friend. even after breaking up i’m quite certain he wants to keep the good memories and was pleased aki felt it in him to text him congratulations. while their romantic bond is gone they still clearly have some bit of care for one another despite it all.

i mean... look at how uge was on about loving aki and wanting aki to be the one to properly end things since then it’d be the proper end bc aki was trapped by him and he was trapped by aki. just... guh.

uge did horrible things and was horrible in his relationship with aki and the two brought out the absolute worst in each other but now he’s on his own path away from aki and seems to be in the light as in a better headspace than the dark basement.

just... guh. if i can go forever without blatant mischaracterization out of hate and spite i’d be happy.

        ❝ Huh? ❞ Haruki questioned after he had checked his pockets for his smokes to discovered he had forgotten to bring his pack from home with him before leaving for work. Haruki let out a sigh at his own forgetfulness.

  Then Haruki heard Ugetsu’s word and saw the opened package of cigarettes. ❝ If it fine with you. ❞ he said with a small sheepish chuckle as he took one. ❝ It seem I forgot my own pack at home. ❞

   “ THAT’S why i offered. “ ugetsu responded simply taking back the cigarette package and putting it in his coat pocket, lighting up his cigarette first before handing his lighter over to the other. “ need a light too? “

   ugetsu didn’t know where this awkwardness came from. normally he was a much more charismatic person but perhaps it was the knowledge that this guy was the one akihiko had fallen in love with playing with his way of acting. he definitely didn’t want to portray himself as some kind of crazy ex, but he couldn’t help but feel a tad sheepish as he didn’t quite know how to really approach his ex’s new partner in a casual manner.

   “ smoking may be bad for the health but it’s definitely something that helps calm the nerves. “
