Talking to the band over the phone or from across the room as to not get them sick before an upcoming concert.

Not being able to raise their voice over loud music or to get the bands attention.

Character A is very shy and reserved. They had just gotten over a bad cold last week thanks to the care of their partner/found family/friends. Admitting they had been sick, let alone allowing themselves to be taken care of, was difficult for them.

It’s been about a week of good health when their throat begins to hurt again.

All A can do is cry, feeling like even more of a burden, and too ashamed to admit they’ve caught something again to the people they love.

Surely they’re sick of taking care of them by now, right?

A sickie who’s endlessly apologetic to caretaker about needing to be taken care of. Caretaker smiles and reassured them that “I want to do this. If I didn’t I wouldn’t be here.”

But when sickie wakes up after a nap to find caretaker nowhere to be found, the start to cry. In their mind since caretaker is no longer THERE, it must mean they don’t want to take care of them anymore.

When caretaker returns with supplies/food/etc, they find a weepy sickie on the couch.
