much more work to be done, thank god winter is showing up so i can wake up on weekends make good coffee and spend all day working on this thing. it started as a kawasaki f7 dirtbike believe it or not. leather seat over the skate deck and new tires are next. fallowed by painting of the rims, different levers and new grips. trimming of the bars, cutting of the left over factory mounts and bolt holes in later dates. bike is bored and has a forged piston and upgraded rotory system. now she can take some boost when the day comes. life long goal is to bring this to the salt flats and set a record!

so here is one hell of a crazy story. about 2 years ago i was in the market to purchase an older jdm car and a 1982 toyota cressida popped up on craigslist. i called the man and spoke with him many times and finally convinced him to sell it to me for 1300. the night came for me to go and pick up the cressida at our local sonic drive in. as i arrived i waited patiently for the beloved x62 to arrive. as minutes turned to hours he did not arrive nor call me. so i headed home and gave up. 2 days later i receive a text saying something along the lines of "someone else came to my house and bought it for 2000". i accepted my loss of a chance to own the cressida i fell in love with......and as many of you may know i found an older sentra which has been turned into the kinda crazy hing only i would build. well as time went on and people began to know my love for classic lunchbox style sedan imports i was still craving a cressida. something rwd old school with a larger strait six in mind. i found myself owning a 1987 bmw 325i for $300 it needed some work which i had given it, but it just wasnt what i expected it to be. it lacked character and didnt have art pouring out of every rust hole and paint crack. so i parked it. for many months unsure what to do with it. And then one day i got a call from a friend asking if i wanted to go to the junkyard with him to grab some parts for his mazda. when we arrived at the junkyard it wasnt like any junkyard i was used to it was 2 people running the place. when we walked in the yard  there was maybe 30 cars if that. we spent 2 or so hours at his mazda pulling random stuff off. sensors harness's center consoles etc. after a long few hours of sitting on broken glass and oil puddles it was time to go. as we walked towards the back door to pay for our parts i noticed a car that i had the fondest picture for. although it was a faint picture it still burnt in my head. it was THE 1982 toyota cressida i tried to purchase 2 years ago! i dropped my stuff ran to that car quicker then a Kenyan and a gold medal. it was my baby. my dirty little cressy. in all her glory she sat there bruised and broken hurting and missing parts. after inspecting her in depth i found she had been rear ended and hopped onto a curb. i walked inside and asked the man whats the deal with the cressida out their he replied "cressida?" i said yes the toyota cressida. he said "oh that old piece of shit scrape metel car?" i said sure if thats what you wanna call it. he told me it was going to the scraper in 2 days because nobody buys parts for it ever. i asked him how much the scraper was goin to give and he told me 400 bucks. the next day i brought him 450 bucks and brought the car home with a CLEAN title. day by day went on and i began to repair the car finding parts and getting her started. and then finally the day hit she was road worthy. that night i went on a car cruise with 200+ cars in a car that i didnt know and trust. it couldve been leaking gas or a brake line could have failed but i drove it all across colorado with no license plates registration or insurance, she smoked shot flames and lug nuts were loose. but at the end of this night i knew this car was here to stay. you see sometimes in life we gotta let go of what we love and hope that someday it will find its way back into our life. the chances of this exact cressida falling back into my arms was so impossible it was not even funny. but here she is beign built up into more of a car every day. future plans include a 2jz swap and another inch lower. simple yet effective. bigger brakes too!
