i know the sun/moon trope is BOOMING in the ghosts fandom bc patcap (and chess husbands??) but let me propose:
father/daughter sun and moon kitty and the captain. sun kitty always cheery and encouraging, she brightens him. moon cap grounding her and guiding her and happy to reflect her light
the captain, going to sleep on his bed, says “goodnight old friend” and we think it’s to his pillow again. but then pat’s arm snakes around his waist from behind and we hear “nighty night cap” :-)
