Luke worked so hard to not make what his mother would scream at him during her fits come true that he inadvertently kickstarted it.

luke’s rage in the betrayal scene gives me chills. he didn’t hesitate to start swinging when percy mentions his dad, and that being his tipping point is so tragic.
