“And tell me what’s the apple without the pie Tell me what’s the french without the fry That’s the way I feel when I know I’m without you...” My second foray into watercolour... and I choose to draw a scene from the SpongeBob Musical :P But hey, it’s adorable, and the set and costumes are so colourful and beautifully designed! :3 This scene is during the song “[I Guess I] Miss You”, where SpongeBob and Patrick, separated due to a conflict of interest, begin to... well, miss each other. And then they go into this totally-not-love ballad for each other. (〃ω〃)
It was a pretty fun piece to paint and I like how the colours turned out, though I found some colours hard to mix and some parts ended up messier than I wanted (eg. the background). But overall, I guess I really like how it turned out ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

“Team of tres to the top!”
So... I’ve been a fan of the SpongeBob Musical for quite a while, but have hesitated on posting fanart and fawning about its wonderfulness (until now heheh). I just love how they’ve humanised the characters and their personalities, the design of the costumes, all the songs (I can’t list a favourite, they’re all so good), the beauty and crazy colourfulness of the set, the struggles they eventually overcome and omg THE FEELS throughout the show!
Honestly I just can’t put into words how much this silly little musical speaks to me, and am happy to see it getting more attention recently <3 <3 <3
Btw, I drew the cartoon designs in musical! costume because it’d be cool to see (plus I can’t draw people lol)

SpongeBob’s costume in the recent Halloween special is just too adorable, so I had to do a little doodle! ^_^
Not to mention that I love stopmotion in general (I applaud the amount of effort that goes into it, and love the style), and in particular how they designed all the sb characters for their stopmotion specials :D

Hey hey hey, did you know that Ice King from Adventure Time is voiced by the same guy that voices Spongebob, Tom Kenny? He also voices Gary and Gunter (pictured here too), as well as a whole bunch of other characters!
Recently I’ve been watching Adventure Time, and love it a lot! The art style, the colourfulness, the storyline and plot... It’s just beautiful :3

r/SketchDaily 18/7/17 Upside down You take a reference image, flip it upside down, then draw from it. Simple as that. :) Reference used: http://i.imgur.com/Y4wqoJf.jpg P.S. Sorry for being behind in SketchDaily again. I was lacking in motivation the past few days for some reason... :/ But I'll be catching up!

r/SketchDaily 16/7/17 Draw the shape of your country from memory This was a really cool theme, and even though I realise my memory of my home country isn't the best (despite living here my whole life), this was pretty fun to draw! :D Yay New Zealand! ^_^

r/SketchDaily 14/7/17 Anarchy I feel like if there were no rules, no government, there is anarchy, instead of chaos, we would just stay inside and go on the internet all day cos no one will tell us not to :P Then the internet will go out from no one working at the internet company, and only THEN will chaos ensue. Idk, but that would at least be what I'd do if the world was in total anarchy ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

r/SketchDaily 13/7/17 Forgiveness First of all, forgive me for not being up to date with SketchDaily. I was away for the weekend without internet, but now I'm back and am in the process of catching up on the past few days and will keep going with these daily doodles. Anyhow, here's a comic on self doubt and forgiving yourself for your flaws. I'm not the best at comic writing, but I guess the point I am trying to make is, even though you may be aware of your flaws and insecurities and it can affect you a lot, sometimes you need to forgive yourself for your flaws. Otherwise you'd just fall into a bad cycle of hating yourself and not improving yourself and hating yourself for not improving etc.

r/SketchDaily 12/7/17 Toes Well, toes are often associated with feet, so I decided to follow a video tutorial on how to draw feet. I should probably do some more anatomy studies because I can't draw realistic people, and it's a pretty important skill, even if you draw cartoony like I do. It was pretty hard for me, and this isn't the greatest, but as everyone says, "practice, practice, practice!"
