Hi, my name is Keith Andrea Vivas, you can call me “Kit”. I am nineteen years old and was born on 21st day of September in 1998. I am currently in my junior year in college and taking up Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia Arts at De La Salle Lipa.

A little background of my life :)

I am an illegitimate child, YES I AM. My mother gave birth to me when she was nineteen years old while my father was only seventeen. My parents weren’t married and they already stopped seeing each other even before I was born ( sad ) I never knew that my father was my “FATHER” until I was 5 years old because I barely see him and whenever I do, I don’t feel the connection between us like he is just some guy who takes care of me when my mom isn’t around.

Growing up, I knew I was different, I am a WEIRDO. I remember when I cut myself with a blade just because I was curious how painful it will be, and I was fascinated seeing fresh blood dripping from my hands ( I know, you think I am some kind of retard lol ). I had done so many weird things in my life but I’m not ashamed because those things make me “ME”.

Anyways, eventually, my stepdad came into our lives, he seems nice and I had a baby sister, that time I was excited to have a sister but now, I don’t know lol ( just kidding, I love my sister ).

Today, we are a happy family, we have misunderstandings but I am glad I have my family beside me. I don’t usually see my real dad but we keep in touch.

Being a Lasallian

Being a Lasallian is one of the great things that happened to me, I had friends who consistently care and influence me to do good things ( is that so? hahaha ). I don’t really belong to group of friends because I prefer being friends with all of my classmates but I do have close friends that I can express myself more when I am with them. I am lazy I admit, especially when it comes to academics. I tend to do things the last minute of the deadline like what I am doing right now ( I’m sorry Ms. ) but I get motivated and inspired when I am appreciated or my works get praised :) I am more active in extracurricular activities like journalism and sports, I am the Chief in Editorial Cartooning in The Lavoxa Group of Publications, I am also the Director of Graphic Design and Illustration in iMEDIA. Being a Lasallian changed me, I have grown, I have learned to come out of my shell and try new things I have not tried yet. ANIMO LOZOL!

My Hobbies

I am lazy but I am active when it comes to my interests. I am a mountaineer, I like to go hiking with my friends especially with my LAVOXA family. I remember my first hike when I didn’t pack light and it is the worst feeling I felt that day, good thing my friend took some of my stuffs to make my bag lighter. My recent hike is an epic and unforgettable one, I puked! I puked while hiking because I still have a hangover for being at “walwalan” with my friends the night before, I was not feeling well that whole day but still had fun. HIKE IS LIFE!

I am an artist, I like to draw, paint and make crafts especially when I am inspired. I am not that good though but I always believed I am unique and every art I make is a part of “ME”. I started drawing things when I was very young because my parents are both good at drawing especially my dad and his family who are all artists.

I am a musician, I love music. I love to listen to Punk, Rock, and Metal songs when I was younger ( my emo days :D ), I am still into these genres but now I listen to Indie, Pop, OPM and Old songs. I am a member of Musikalista, an org of musicians in DLSL but I’m not active anymore since I got into Campus Journalism. I play instruments too, I play guitar, ukulele, a little bit on the piano, violin and drums. I always listen to music, there is no day without me listening to my playlists even when I go to sleep. ( I end up still wearing earpods in the morning when I wake up lol ) It’s just MUSIC IS LIFE! \m/

I am a photographer, I always take photos to capture good memories. I believe taking pictures doesn’t require you to be good to make your photos meaningful but it is about the subject in the picture and how you see its value.

Who I am

I am Kit, I am an adventurer, an artist and I am proud of who I am. I make the best out of anything. YOLO!
