A week ago I woke up to my 3 year old cat Dexter shaking uncontrollably, foaming at the mouth and biting his tongue. I rushed him to the emergency vet and it was confirmed that he had a seizure. Less than 24 hours of bringing him home from the emergency clinic he had another one. His test results have come back saying that his red blood cells are very high, Meaning that he has an undetermined problem with his kidneys, heart or bone marrow. They need to do tests to conclude what the problem in order to treat him properly or my sweet boy will just continue to seize and his health will rapidly decline. Dexter is the sweetest boy and loves anyone who will scratch his belly and give him treats. I raised him from the time he was a 6 week old kitten and seeing him in duress is breaking my heart. I’m a recent graduate and I do not have the funds to pay for the tests they need to do. I would be completely lost without him and my other cat rory would miss the brother he has known all his life. I am begging for help to save my previous boy. I will be so grateful for any donations, and I will post updates on his health.
