The wonderful thing about the LS falling for the other side of the mask too is that with Adrienette, Adrien will slowly start to look forward to seeing Marinette just the two of them and blushing at her laugh and find himself doing his best to make her smile. And then one sunny day when they're walking outside she turns around to look at him and the sun will hit her face just right and the air will leave his lungs while he looks into her eyes and *melts* and it will be very soft and sweet and romantic.

Meanwhile Ladynoir is like: Chat Noir cracks the worst joke ever. Ladybug laughs, her stomach flutters and she thinks "wow he's actually so cute immediately" followed by a huge "F U C K!"

I just watched the season 3 finale the other day and I just want to say I actually really like the ending scene, and tbh as much as I would love for Adrien and Marinette to get together, I actually don’t really mind if they don’t. The sentiment of letting go of your first love so both parties can find happiness with someone else really resonates with me and the sort of melancholic comfort that comes with a bittersweet ending like that would really fit the series well, I think. like, obviously seasons four and five were confirmed so there’s still no telling how things will all end but if season three had been the end of the series I think I would have been satisfied with that sort of ambiguous but solid wrap up, you know?

Back when i first got into this fandom I had a hogwarts AU where adrien was an unregistered black cat animagus, as his own way to rebel against his father and escape from his Public Image. 

As a cat he made best friends with marinette and hangs out with her all the time!! she has no idea he is actually the boy she has the hugest crush on.
