Les Affaire...

Depuis le départ de Chloé, les frangins continuent leur petite vie. Fêtes, travail et amourettes de passage ne s'arrêtent jamais avec eux. Oskar ne semble pas réaliser les ennuis qu'il a réussi à éviter depuis sa petite liaison avec une des actrices durant le tournage d'une série à succès. Il voit en Bionda la femme parfaite, la star qui l'accompagnera sur le chemin de la célébrité. Marizza travaille dur pour réussir sa carrière dans la justice. Mais elle n'oublie pas de "décompresser" après avoir magouiller toute la journée avec Philian. Récemment, Angel ne cesse de lui dire qu'il se sent prêt à sérieusement faire avancer leur relation. Mais Marizza a du mal à s'imaginer cette petite vie tranquille, presque banale.. Au fond d'elle-même, elle vise plus loin, plus haut que ça.

Quant à Julia, les amants se font rares. Alors qu'autour d'elle, les amourettes de ses frères et sœurs vont et viennent, la frustration monte en elle.

Recently, Angel keeps telling her that he feels ready to take their relationship seriously. But Marizza finds it hard to imagine having this quiet, almost banal life. Deep down inside, she aims further, higher than that.

As for Julia, lovers are rare. While around her, the love affairs of her brothers and sisters come and go, frustration rises in her.

D'où vient Marjorie? A-t-elle été mise à la porte par de riches parents? S'est-elle enfuie d'un pauvre taudis ? Elle donne toujours une version différente aux curieux qui osent demander. N'étant plus l'héritière de qui que ce soit, elle a décidé de démarrer son propre héritage, ici, à Roaring Heights.

La vie n'est pas simple pour une fille toute seule et sans argent à cette époque, et elle le sait. Mais Marjorie a toujours été en admiration en lisant ces histoires de femmes qui transforment le monde à leur image! Elle ne veut pas forcement aller jusque là mais avoir sa propre (grande) famille serait un bon départ pour elle.

*A savoir : - J'utilise Nraas pour que tous les sims aient 6 traits, je trouve que ça donne plus de possibilités pour un peu plus de chaos - Selon ce qu'il se passe, parfois je change certains traits en cours de partie. Je considère qu'on peut tous changer en grandissant ou après certains évènements. Je n'essaie pas non plus de me faciliter le jeu, mais de renouveler un peu le gameplay lorsque je risque de m'ennuyer.*

Where is Marjorie from? Was she kicked out by wealthy parents? Did she run away from a poor hovel? She always gives a different version to the curious who dare to ask. No longer being anyone's heiress, she decided to start her own legacy here in Roaring Heights.

Life is not easy for a girl alone and without money at this time, and she knows it. But Marjorie has always been in awe reading these stories of women who are transforming the world in their image! She doesn't necessarily want to go that far, but having her own (big) family would be a good start for her.

*To know : - I use Nraas so that all sims have 6 traits, I find it gives more possibilities for a little more chaos - Depending on what happens, sometimes I change certain traits during the game. I consider that we can all change while growing up or after certain events. I'm also not trying to make the game easier for myself, but to renew the gameplay a bit when I risk getting bored.*

Les Coverdale...

Le jour J est arrivé bien vite, et pour les deux frères ! Ils ont décidé de faire leur mariage à tous les deux le même jour. Maxx n'avait pas vraiment les moyens pour financer son propre mariage. Mais Malcolm, toujours le cœur sur la main, lui proposa : "Pourquoi ne pas partager ce grand moment tous ensemble ?"

Eve n'a pas trop aimer l'idée mais Malcolm lui a promis qu'après ils emménageraient dans leur propre maison !

D-Day arrived very quickly, and for the two brothers! They decided to have their wedding both on the same day. Maxx didn't really have the money to finance his own wedding. But Malcolm, always open-handed, asked him: "Why not share this great moment all together?"

Eve didn't really like the idea but Malcolm promised her that afterwards they would move into their own house!

~Welcome To Early Pleasantview~

Here is Early Strangetown's lil sibling! The main premise of creation of that first hood, was that a Early Pleasantview didn't exist as a full downloadable neighborhood! So... I went and created one!! It's set 10 years before Pleasantview begins, i know it's not the same as Early Strangetown, but when i was creating this hood timeline i was faced with a problem.

Pleasantview has sims all over town that appear at different main games at the same timeline, so if i would make 20 years before, some sims would be in The Sims 1 Neighborhoods, others would be living in Sims 3 Worlds, so a timeframe that (i think) everyone would be together, would be 10 years prior! And with that, i set it in a general 90's aesthetic, and i took that aesthetic pretty loosely lol, it's difficult with no cc!

Enough rambling, let's get on with the download!

A big reminder! I have the Ultimate Collection, so all EPs and SPs are required for the neighborhood.

~Neighborhood Description~

As the families finally settle down, the Golden Years of Pleasantview are only beginning. With peaceful and promising futures, will the townsfolk maintain tranquility, or burst into chaos?

Pleasant-Oldie;

Dreamer;

I've renovated all of the residential lots, and just like Early Strangetown, i didn't renovated a iconic lot, i wouldn't do 113 Wright Way justice lol, and i didn't renovate the community lots. But i did add a cemetery for deceased premades.

The neighborhood comes with:

10 Families;

9 Inhabited lots;

12 Uninhabited residential lots;

5 Community lots;

1 Apartment, the Pleasantvista Apartment (renovated);

20 Adult Townies, a mixture of Sims 2 townies, Sunset Valley playables turned into townies and Sims 1 playables turned to townies;

15 Teen Townies, mostly adult OG Pleasantview townies but in their teen years;

8 Child Townies; original teen townies from PV but in their childhood;

5 Toddlers in the Adoption Pool; the original townie children;

Michael Bachelor's clones turned to townies, for them to roam around Pleasantview;

And The Sims 1 Services NPCs make an appearance in this hood!;

The premade deceased sims were given bios, just to add more lore into them! But i gave it to them very early in creation, so for them, expect some inconsistency and bad grammar lol

Some townies were also given biographies, at least to those more important to the story.

As i mentioned, the sims are genetically correct, and i used original faces in PV for the parents, made by @meetmetotheriver for their clean template.

I was also thinking about what if you'd like to play a megahood with both Early Strangetown and Pleasantview? What i would recommend, is to play Strangetown until Nervous and the rest of his generation (Lazlo, Erin, Kristen, Lola and Chloe) are teens, and then add Early Pleasantview, just because there's a Nervous counterpart in my PV, and they should have the same age. But you can do whatever you want!

I know this is a VERY LONG post, but i wanted to thank some people for their help with this neighborhood that's very near and dear to my heart <3

@earlypleasantview and @cozy-sims Early Pleasantview she started making, for basically being the inspiration for my hood;

lol I'm just gonna post my Early Strangetown stuff here.

~Welcome To Early Strangetown~

I've always liked the idea of a Early Pleasantview, and i thought it was a real thing, and guess what? There isn't one for download! Well... Not that I know of. So In case if there was, I decided to make a Early Strangetown, that Is 20 years before Strangetown starts (approximately), and Is loosely based In the 80´s, at least I tried to recreate an 80´s vibe from a person that didn't experience the 1980´s.

This Is my first custom Neighborhood, so be nice to me lol. If you got any feedback or question feel free to talk to me!

A big reminder! I have the Ultimate Collection, so all EPs and SPs are required for the neighborhood.

*Edit 04.23*: I've made some corrections to the hood including, giving jobs (some Sims had the memory of the job, but were unemployed) , fixing grades, and gender preferences! Also fixed some text that was misspelled lol! ( and giving bios to the sims that I forgot to give oops! )

*Edit 07.22*: Now I updated the download link! Because this new file doesn't have any stealth hoods attached, because I'm making a sub-hood version of Early Strangetown as a shopping district, I'm just keeping you updated cause If you don't have clean stealth hoods, you will have all of those bin families from the EP's

*Edit 11.06*: Another update, mostly correcting the biographies for the sims, like typos and bad grammar. And fixed the apartment that the Loste family lives.

Just to clarify! The maxis match version, means that the oldest parents in each family got their original face from Strangetown, and their children are genetically correct, with their facial structures matching their parents.

~Neighborhood Description~

Knowledge-seeking Sims move to Strangetown to find the truth. Do aliens live among us? Do Sims die mysteriously here? And is the rumor true that a woman has secretly disappeared in this town? In Strangetown, nothing is as it seems.

I've renovated the residential lots, except 2 Cover Up Road, that's too iconic to renovate lol. And the community lots have not been changed.

About the families, they are just the parents of the premades, and the premades themselves. I´ve recreated their faces, which means that the faces are custom.

But I also included a Alt Hood, for the maxis match version of their faces (I extracted the facial structure of the premades parents from the @meetmetotheriver clean template of Strangetown, thanks to @strangetomato we have no corrupted faces!).

The hood comes with:

10 Families (The Muenda family, Nigmos, Specter, Curious, Grunt, Vandermorgan, Loste, Salamis, Loner.);

2 Families In the bin (Smith and Beaker);

9 Inhabited Residential lots;

3 Uninhabited Residential lots;

1 Apartment;

2 Community lots;

20 Adult Townies;

5 Townie Children

5 Teen Townies + 1 JOYFULL surprise!

I've made the all the sims genetically correct (through CAS). And made some genetic changes to fit the sims better, for exemple, Circe's father, his hair genetics is originally black, but i made it red, because i couldn't see Circe without her lovely red hair!

And i've given some of the sims Secondary Aspiration, just to fit the story, for example, A.P. and Jacqueline Vandermorgan, although they are Family sims, i gave them Secondary Popularity and Fortune (respectively) to fit their personal Bio.

And final thing i changed! The ages! I had to tweak some of the ages to kinda make sense, at least In my head. Like, basing of Olive's memories, at this point in the Hood, Lyla would already be dead, so i changed the time of the events, so that all of the sims would be In the same-ish stage of their life.

Les Coverdale...

Le quotidien des deux frères était assez morne jusqu'à ce Malcolm reçoive cette invitation à cette soirée chez les Dimarcheio. Après être rentré avec Eve, Maxx a vu son frère se métamorphoser. Malcolm n'a pas attendu avant de faire d'Eve sa fiancée. Le décès de Cassie leur a finalement appris à tout les deux que la vie peut-être courte et qu'il faut en profiter tant qu'on le peut !

Après tous ces évènements, Maxx a beaucoup réfléchi à son propre avenir. Et un soir où il répétait, il a même entendu la voix de sa douce Chloé lorsque son chien l'accompagnait. Serait-ce un signe ? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The daily life of the two brothers was quite bleak until Malcolm received this invitation to this party at the Dimarcheios. After coming home with Eve, Maxx saw his brother transform. Malcolm did not wait before making Eve his fiancée. Cassie's passing has finally taught them both that life can be short and you have to enjoy it while you can!

After all these events, Maxx thought a lot about his own future. And one evening when he was rehearsing, he even heard the voice of his sweet Chloe when his dog accompanied him. Could this be a sign?

Pendant ce temps-là à la soirée...

Alors qu'Eve se faisait maltraiter par les invités de la petite fête de sa belle sœur, Marizza n'avait d'yeux que pour le beau Antonio Rosales. Seulement, pour Antonio ce soir, l'objectif était d'enfin séduire Eve ! Après s'être autant investi dans les affaires discrètes des Dimarcheio, être leur beau-frère lui assurerait une bonne place dans leur business et un joli coussin de simflouz facultativement... Mais malheureusement Marizza n'arrêtait pas de monopoliser son attention pour tenter de l'embrasser ! Et après moult râteaux (6!!), Antonio, désespéré, fini par lui dire qu'il était secrètement avec Eve pour qu'elle arrête enfin de le harceler. Mais Bionda qui jusque là tentait d'ignorer calmement tout ça, bondit sur Antonio à l'écoute de cet affront:

"-COMMENT CA?! TU N'OUBLIES PAS DEUX PETITES CHOSES?! TU CROIS QUE TU VAS ME LES LAISSER COMME CA PENDANT QUE TU ROUCOULES AVEC CETTE #£$% ?!"

*ÉCHEC DE LA MISSION*

While Eve was being mistreated by the guests of her sister-in-law's little party, Marizza only had eyes for the handsome Antonio Rosales.

For Antonio, tonight the goal was to finally seduce Eve! After having invested so much in the discreet affairs of the Dimarcheios, being their brother-in-law would ensure him a good place in their business and a nice cushion of simoleons optionally… But unfortunately Marizza kept monopolizing her attention to try to kiss her! And after many rakes (6!!), Antonio ended up telling her that he was secretly with Eve so that she would finally stop harassing him.

But Bionda, who until then had tried to calmly ignore all this, pounced on Antonio when she heard this affront:

"-HOW?! DID YOU NOT FORGET TWO LITTLE THINGS?! YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING TO LEAVE THEM LIKE THIS WHILE YOU COO WITH THAT #£$%?!"

Les Dimarcheio...

Jessica veut désormais être tranquille. Sa belle-sœur, Eve, n'a plus rien à faire ici. A part pleurer toutes les nuits et accuser Cassidy de "copie ratée de sa VRAIE nièce", elle ne sert plus à rien et mieux vaut qu'elle ne puisse pas mettre son nez là où il ne faudrait pas. C'est décidé, Eve doit disparaître. Mais les Dimarcheio doivent encore faire profil bas en ce moment.. Donc elle doit partir, et si possible, d'elle-même. Jessica a un plan. Après quelques coups de fils indiscrets, Jessica a ce qu'il lui faut. Une petite fête, un certain Malcolm Coverdale, et un peu d'alcool dans leurs verres grâce au barman, et hop! Après s'être fait menacer, et gifler par tous les amis de Jessica et Philian, les deux tourtereaux désespérés finissent par se bécoter au beau milieu du salon! Mission réussie! Pendant ce temps, Cassidy, rongée par la curiosité d'en savoir plus sur les affaires de ses parents, en profite pour se faufiler dans leur bureau...

Jessica wants to have peace now. His sister-in-law, Eve, has no more business here. Other than crying every night and accusing Cassidy of being a "failed copy of her REAL niece", she's useless and better not stick her nose where she shouldn't. It's decided, Eve must disappear. But the Dimarcheios still have to keep a low profile right now. So she has to leave, and if possible, on her own. Jessica has a plan. After a few indiscreet phone calls, Jessica has what she needs. A small party, a certain Malcolm Coverdale, and a little alcohol in their glasses thanks to the bartender, and presto! After being threatened and slapped by all of Jessica and Philian's friends, the two desperate lovebirds end up kissing in the middle of the living room! Mission accomplished!

Meanwhile, Cassidy, gnawed by curiosity to learn more about her parents' business, takes the opportunity to sneak into their office…
