kevin taking jean's hand in his and turning his arm around to assess his wounds and asking him to make a fist and sighing in relief when he can like he's done this song and dance a million times before with jean. checking him after an incident and making sure he's still in one piece and jean allowing it because he loves him desperately and it's the only reprieve he has from all the abuse. the only time someone handles him with care. and it stings because he has to tell himself that kevin only cares because if jean can't play exy he's no use to anyone and if he's no use to anyone he'll be killed and kevin will be left alone and kevin desperately doesn't want to be left alone. but he's also the reason jean gets to keep his language even if it was only ever whispered in secret. and he's the reason jean had a collection of something to treasure, even of it was just magnets and postcards. and he's also 90% of the reason jean is alive because he made a promise and he couldn't bear to leave kevin even though in the end kevin left him behind. and even after that kind of betrayal he still has unwavering trust in kevin and goes where he tells him to so he'll be safe and defends his name when he needs to. because it's kevin. and maybe he can't be everything to jean but he will always be something to him.

Do you guys ever think about Kevin Day. About the number on his cheek. About the horrors he survived to keep it there. The physical and psychological torture that he endured just so he could have the shiny number 2 tattooed on his cheekbone. How brave he was to go through all that.

How brave he must have been to let it go.

To say: I’m giving up my number, the one I’ve dehumanized and killed myself over. I’m giving it up, but my suffering for it wasn’t in vain.

To realize that he didn’t deserve the number 2, not because he was no longer second best without the Ravens, but because he had always been better than all of them.

He was the deadliest piece on the board.

I desperately need Jason going ape shit angry headcanons. We’ve seen Percy , we’ve seen a bit of Nico and I NEED TO SEE JASON. He’s the son of the angry man himself like I know Jason is seen as a calm and collected guy but I need him to snap. Like can you imagine the utter power he would exhibit, the fear he would induce like PLEASE. This is the guy who defeated a Titan by himself with only his fists (and sword) and I’m assuming he was calm collected Jason there too. Just imagine

i keep thinking about jean’s POV of riko going to hit neil.

in aftg, neil is so focused on riko coming down with his racket to hit him that it seems like andrew comes out of no where to save him but i love that jean sees it. and it’s not like he just moves out of goal or anything, no, he HAULS ASS to get to neil to save him. that to me says everything. i love them so bad
