cam when doing like wax play do you need to have some kind of specific candle that’s ok for your skin or can it just be any old candle??

definitely don’t just use any old candle, you could burn yourself!  check out this infographic:

in addition to this info, some things to note:

-i don’t like candles contained in glass, as it’s harder to “control” the wax temp.  the wax pools and doesn’t cool, and can easily harm someone in my opinion. 

-when pouring wax on someone, start farther away from the body.  the farther away, the longer the wax has to “cool” in the air.  communicate with them and get closer to ramp up intensity in accordance with whatever they say they’re comfortable with.

-you can use candles you buy at the store, but i prefer to buy them from specialty play candle sellers.  i like painfullyknk - you can find them on IG or fetlife - but there are a few other ones out there.  i know agreeableagony makes them, too!
