Might as well join @kirbyoctournament for fun ofc!

Name: Dolos

Personality: Mischievous, Playful, Smart, Creative, Neuroticism (Just don't piss them off)

Pronouns: They/He (Hates to be called ‘She/Her’)

Lore/Backstory/Info: Meet Dolos a very chaotic little gremlin (minus the gremlin part). They are genius inventor but have made some mistakes but still keep going! They are the same species as Marx, minus the tail. They idolize Marx very much (No one knows why)! He has a little sister named Halia (Thank you friend, for choosing her name<3). As an inventor, he always causes mischief and mayhem around dreamland. But his plans always get ruined by Kirby and his friends. Not much info about his past, but some say he was created by a divine wish. And someone took him under his wing.

wow crazy I'm actually doing this huh

Anyways I joined last year with loga and while they are totally not my favorite I'm booting them to the corner and taking out Nix

Unfortunately due to being heavily overloaded with a ton of things irl I haven't been able to update their ref, so take this older one instead

The only real change I want to do to their ref is that that they have legs now (think daroach-style floaty ones, and like with the vibes of darkrai). Also, that design for their sword is awful, so honestly just come up with whatever one you want and have fun with it (it's going to be redesigned...soon™).

A couple more notes under the cut:

They are of the Dwohyi species (you might've seen me use 'atua' for it; I have changed the name from atua as I have realized it might be offensive to Polynesians)

They are agender, and use they/them pronouns (and refer to themselves as 'we/us/our'; they aren't plural, it's more akin to the royal we)

Their secondary eyes (the ones on their cheeks) are usually closed, and the halo usually is not there.

Perhaps others would call them an 'ancient'. The tournament happens beyond time and space, however, so don't think too much about the logistics of them being there. After all, there's quite a bit that hasn't been revealed...

Warnings: Lu finding out their gender identity, Lu talking negatively about themselves self, and everyone being supportive

A/n: I headcanon Rabbid Luigi (Other known as Llewellyn or Lu for short.) to be genderfluid.

For people who are confused, “What is Genderfluid?” or “What does it mean?”

I’ll try my best to explain.

A person who is genderfluid often switches genders, depending on the person. Let's say they feel feminine. They use she/her pronouns. Maybe the next day they feel, they use them/they pronouns. They feel they/them.

Does that make sense? (If it doesn't just search it up. I’m bad at explaining things-)

Lu looks at his mirror. He was wearing his casual day clothes green T-shirt with blue overalls (missing a button), and his green hat.

Something felt a bit off.. He can’t put a finger on it..

Eh. Nothing to worry about. Maybe a snack will clear his mind?

He left his room and quickly went downstairs. As he reached downstairs he saw his friends about to leave. Well, the girls. “Bye boys! Will be back soon!!” Daisy smiled and said her good byes.

“You brought your weapons with you, yes?” Mari ask the girls.

“Of course, never leave without them!” Peach replied, pulling out her weapon.

“Hey? Where are you guys going?!” Lu ask.

“To Toadette’s Café!” chirped Daisy.

“What?! I wanna come too!!” Lu plead.

“Sorry Lu, but this is a girl's night out. Maybe next time, okay?” said Peach, putting her weapon back in her purse.

“Will make sure to get you one of the desserts.” said Daisy.

‘Girls..’

“Okay..” Lu mumbled.

“Come Rosa and Edge!!” said Peach dragging both of her friends out of the door.

“Hey!! My book!!” Rosa whined.

“Ugh.. Not again..” Edge mumbled.

Daisy quickly gives her boyfriend a kiss on the cheek. “Will see you later, hun. I’ll make sure to bring you a snack!”

“Mhm.. Bye Sunflower..”

“Goodbye Lulu~” said Daisy, leaving and closing the door.

Lu frowned. “Don’t be upset Lu!! Now we the guys could hangout!! Right Yosh?” said Mari smiling, wrapping his arm around his brother.

“Right!!” said Yosh carrying a lot of different junk food snacks.

“Uhh, you guys do without me.. I’m going to my room..” said Lu, his ears almost drooping down.

“Are you sure..?” Mari asks his little brother. Noticing his ears drooping down a bit.

“Yeah..! I’m just gonna practice dancing! Okay?” Lu tries to reassure his brother.

“Hmm. Okay. Call us if you need anything alright?”

“Will do,” said Lu, leaving his brother’s arm and going upstairs.

*coUgH*

“I leave you for 15 seconds and you’re already choking on a chip-”

‘*Girls* night out…’

‘We the *guys* could hangout..’

Hearing that just made his heart sting. Why?

He looks downstairs on the railing, seeing his brother scolding Yosh.

What can he do? He’s too tired to practice his dancing skills. Maybe he could reach Peach Diary! There’s always good stuff in there.

As he walks to Peach’s room. He sees a bunch of dresses and sewing materials around. So, this is why she was up in her room all day. Peach likes to sew, along with Daisy. Both of them make dresses and other clothes.

One dress spotted his eye. A beautiful green dress, at the bottom trimmings have white flowers.

‘So, beautiful…’

He touches the fabric softly. Feeling the truffles flowing through his fingertips. Wouldn’t hurt to wear it right?

Wait no!! Lu you’re a *boy!!*

*Boys* does not wear dresses!!

…I mean no one is looking right..?

Lu honestly looks stunning in that dress. Standing in front of the mirror. Twirling around and playing with the dress a little.

He almost felt like a Disney Princess. She honestly thinks she’s beautiful..

Wait.. ‘She’ ?

They smiled, hearing the word ‘She’

It felt nice.. It felt like it fit with Lu..

Wearing this dress, makes it feel right.

…The door swings open, revealing the girls who just come back from their girls out.

“And she said-”

“Uhhh… Lu what are you doing?” Peach ask, seeing Lu wearing her dresses.

“Uhhh.. This is not Lu?”

“It’s clearly you.”

Lu didn’t know what to do. He wanted to hide and never show his face. His ears go down and shield his face. “Go ahead laugh.. Tell me this looks weird or ugly on me..!”

But he heard nothing. No snickering or Peaches taking pictures.

“Lu..?” Rosa called out his name.

Lu move his ears slowly seeing the girls surrounding him, giving him reassuring looks.

“Honestly this dress suits you!!” said Daisy smiling.

“I agree and I’m proud of our work,” Peaches replied.

Lu was confused, “Wait? You don't think this is weird? I’m wearing a dress!!?”

“So..?” Rosa tilted her head.

“W-Well..” Lu stuttered. “Boys don't wear dresses-!”

“But you’re wearing a dress..?”

“I-I know.. I know I’m a *boy* but.. I don't feel like a boy..” Lu mumbled.

Peaches ears twitch. That caught her attention. “Don’t feel like a boy..?” Peaches questioned.

“Forget it.. Sounds stupid..” said Lu his ears still covering his face.

“No, No..!” Peaches shakes her head no. “Come Lu, sit on my bed, talk to us..”

Lu moves his ears again to see where to walk. He walks and sits down on Peach's bed. Peaches sitting on his left, Daisy sitting on the right, Rosa sitting on a beanbag, and Edge sitting down on the floor.

“Soooo.. Don't feel like a ‘boy’..” Peaches ask.

Lu shakes his head, “I mean.. I feel like a boy on some days.. But on other days.. I feel like something else..”

“How so..?” Rosa questions, now wearing her reading glasses and holding a cyan star notebook.

Edge raises her eyebrow but doesn't question it.

“Well.. Seeing you or your other girls dressing up so fancy! In pretty dresses..” Lu starts to fiddle with his fingers. “Just makes me wanna wear a dress too..!”

“I see..” Rosa writes that down.

“You said other days you feel like a boy too right..?” Edge asks.

“Well, yeah!! Back to my regular self,” said Lu. “Gosh, maybe I’m weird..”

“No.. You’re not.”

Lu looks at Rosa. “But I am.. Like who switches their gender back and forth?!”

The girls look at each other. Lu continues, “Idk what am I..”

“Hmm well, you’re genderfluid,” said Rosa

“Genderfluid..?” Lu repeats back.

“Mhm,” Rosa nods her head.

“It means you are gender-fluid when you don't identify solely as male or female, and your gender identity changes over time,” explains Rosa.

“Oh..!” Lu muttered.

Peaches gently brush Lu’s ears away from his face. She spoke to him, “Do you want to try out more dresses..?”

Lu's eyes widened and mumbled a small ‘Really..?!’

Peaches smiled, “Of course!”

Daisy let out a small squeal, “Make Over!!”

Rosa smiled setting her notebook and her reading glasses down. “I’ll join.”

The girls + Lu look at Edge. Edge stares at them and shrugs, “Sure why not? Got nothing better to do.”

“Well, I hope I can be pretty..”

“Psh. You’re going to be fabulous~!”
