My partner and I flew to Florida a few weeks back to attend a friends wedding and we had the best time! While on our flight down there I looked out my window and saw this beautiful sunrise. I sent this photo to my family and said "guys look, its 🐶 pheobe's new home💔 ." I think of this image when I'm remembering pheebs these days. I like to imagine her running threw the clouds, no leash, no collar, no arthritis, no tummy problems. I'm not really sure what's going on, but I have developed a borderline obsession with house plants. I've been learning so much about them, and I love them 💚 I have a huge array of succulents, and for easter my mom gifted me a prayer plant! 😭 so sweet. I also have a spider plant and parlor palm. I'm looking forward to having more. Plants are so much better than filling your home with crap ya know? This is a lil watercolor of a monstera deliciosa. I've seen this plant all over social media, as I'm sure many of you have, and I can understand why its so popular. I'm hoping to get a large tropical plant for our sun room later this year. Hey all. I know I've been pretty absent recently. As a lot of you may have guessed my pupper passed away last week 😞 A week before moving to our new home, my snuggle muffin got really sick. After two difficult weeks, Pheobe started to decline very quickly. My family and I realized Pheobe couldn't do most of her favorite things anymore, like eating and walking, without a lot of help. We had promised her and ourselves we'd never let her suffer, and we had reached that point. I don't know if I'll ever feel 100% about our choice, all I know now is she's not hurting anymore 💔 I've obviously really been struggling with losing her, the hardest part is not having her greet me when I come home. I'll be posting about her more in the coming weeks amd I hope that will be ok with you all. I also hope my stories, pictures and videos of her will bring you all smiles 💙 I've started a new art project in her honor, I'll keep y'all posted on it. I liiiiiiiive hello friends! Thanks for your patience while I get my workspace set up at my new place 💚 I'll have to give you a lil tour at some pt so you can see it. I finally have room to paint again fam 😭 also, I'm currently working on a new digital portrait, mockups for my business cards, and I've been playing with some new mediums. My partner's mom gifted me a huge set of water based brush pens for my bday a few months ago. I finally have time and space to start playing with them. I definitly can't use them the way I do my copic markers, and they're a lot more saturated in color than my watercolor paints. I'm having a lot of fun playing with them though, I like a challenge. O! I've also been playing with colored pencils more. I literally have 3,527 colored pencils.... Dear loved ones, please stop gifting colored pencils to me.
