reserchers for the fucking american journal of surgery: hey so after reviewing and piling the data of 55 studies on surgery, about 1% of people have regrets and most people are overall satisfied with their top surgery, whether thats body contouring or a double mastectomy or a breast augmentation. until there’s a serious spike in statistical regrets we don’t see a problem.
i just heard the phrase “if you wouldn’t trust their advice, don’t trust their criticism” for the first time and i don’t think i’ve ever needed to hear anything more
use your brain.
EDIT: the gaslighting in the comments is something else. “These protests are different because they are against the state and the police” (yes, that must be why they are being celebrated and encouraged by the regimes with the worst human rights records in the world), “the protestors in these pictures weren’t students and the protests weren’t student organized” (wrong and wrong), “they protested against the war with Hitler because they didn’t know about the Holocaust” (blatantly wrong), “these protests were way smaller” (wrong). Just anything and everything to keep moving the goalposts because god forbid you listen to Jews when we tell you that the literal organizers of these so-called “pro-Palestine, anti-war” protests are terrorizing Jewish students.
We’ve been hearing report after report of antisemitism at encampment protests, video after video, photo after photo, documenting people being physically assaulted, threatened, having antisemitic vitriol yelled at them.
And then people have the audacity to say that we’re accusing people of antisemitism for “criticizing israel.” What an absolute barrel of horse shit
If only these newest mask-off antisemites would spend half of the time they attack jews on protesting literal slave states like Qatar the world might actually be a better place someday (but they won't because criticizing anything muslim is considered islamophobic)
Unfortunately that would require them to possess some level of self awareness.
This is shitty to say but I feel like women love to make everything about them. Lesbians, Bi women, straight women, just...women in general. Even though society cares about them more and generally treats them better than males (except for in places like Iran and such) many of them get pissy when anyone dares try to push men's issues to the spotlight more instead of ignoring us. Hell, men are considered worthless if they can't provide for a woman or if they're poor and that's just ONE of many.
That’s certainly. A theory? I think some people are just very self centered or internally focused or whatever. Maybe generally there is less criticism towards women’s entitlement and narcissism than men’s?
