protection spell
A simple spell to ward off danger from a loved one.
Tumblr media
What You Need:
A white candle
Pen and paper
Something that belongs to the person you are trying to protect (optional, but highly recommended
The Spell:
Light your candle and write the name of the intended person on the paper.
Focus on that person as you chant:
Dancing flame in front of me Keep this person safe as can be Protect (her/him/them) from any harm Keep (her/him/them) safe, keep (her/him/them) warm
Put the paper to the flame. Envision the warmth from the flame protecting the intended person, like a forcefield from harm.
If you have an object of theirs, hold it to you as the paper burns, breathing your energy into it.
Once the paper has burned completely, blow out your flame, and thank it for its warmth.
You may reblog, but please do not repost.

*through gritted teeth* you are not a child taking a test with the purpose of getting the highest score, you are an adult trying new things and finding ways to enjoy your life, make mistakes, be a beginner, be mediocre, be where you need to be, be unlikeable, just. be.

i think at some point in life you are going to have to grapple with the fact that nobody is going to just perfectly fit into your idea of them, and nobody is going to slot into your life without any uncomfortable bumps or rubbing of edges, and nobody is going to follow the script you want them to follow or thought they would follow because the people around you, shockingly, are not cardboard cutouts. at some point in life you WILL need to face the, surprisingly, real and messy interiority of other people. and you are going to have to learn to grant them the same nuance, agency and consideration you grant yourself, or want to be granted. and you are going to have to learn to make grace an important factor in what you say and what you assume about others bc i guarantee there is no shortage of grace being offered to you at some point in your life, and not in some transactional sense either but bc it is not that difficult to pause for literally 2 mintues and give people the space to be human and then just....move on with your life.
like i dont think it can be pointed out enough that responding and reacting are two very different things and it's a kindness to your future self to actually learn the difference.

I once believed that I am all knowing, that I knew what love truly meant, but as it turns out. I am simply rediscovering its multiple faces everyday. Love is a calm word and to be the center of it is to live in its peaceful simplicity. I know a mothers love for a child and a sisters love. I am also familiar with love incorporated with unhuman beings, the love we are able to give and nurture with animals or things. I haven't experience a lovers love, though I am a witness to multiple love stories and to have witness those have opened my eyes to a dimension of difference. I am a hopeless romatic, I grew fond of love and even the idea of knowing who is my the one. The curiosity to memorize and gather the definitions and mechanism of what love truly is — I have a desire to devour all of it. I am also a simple girl and I don't like when people don't make a choice for themselves, I hold people in such high pedestal that I want them to always choose the best in everything. I don't fancy trivial and simple worries like; what should I order? Who should I invite over? Should I pursue this or that? I dislike hearing them. I would watch or read and be engrossed with the dilemma that a main character faces that I get affected and my stable emotions are disturbed, it makes me wanna go in there and tell her to make a choice. What I fail to understand sometimes in everything I stood for is that choices are either good or bad, but it ends. Let me tell you a story about a spy and an agent, they work together inside an office, a taskforce they call it. The guy is a nerd, so smart, cute, loving, awkward, and very good in computer. The girl is brave, independent, strong willed, principled and scared. He loved her first and she loved him, and even though she tries to give an equal amount of love, she just can't. Not because she's mean, although she is at times, but because the guy is such a sweetheart that he is brimming with love. It came to a point where the girl is being hunted by her previous employer and she has to disappear because contract killers will come for her no matter what, the guy with so much love for her wanted to disappear with her, but in the end they both made choices to which they believe would give each other solace. But I know that the reason behind those choices is the cause of how they were conditioned and taught to love. The girl with principles thought that she would never let the guy so madly in love with her lose the chance to ever be given the same intensity of love, she thinks its unfair and I agree, while the guy made a choice to be with her which ever part of the earth, it was his choice to love her, stick with her even and it was her choice to love him, but to let him go. The truth is, I love you deeply that I want to know all the ways to love you, I wanna love you in all forms because I like choosing you and then I wonder, "what can you do for me?" your answer is what I think lacks to my quest to find out what love truly is.

U can grieve and still live life. U can miss loving someone and love others. You can hold onto the good moments and simultaneously the bad moments. You can take the learning from a person you let go off and use it for the better. You can love someone and they may not be the right person. You can wish someone the best and love them from a distance. You can think fondly of someone and never talk to them again.. mysteries of the world…
