              “Good god almighty; I’ll just point you in the direction of the Great Saiyamen, and let them deal with this,” she huffed, “Okay, hero of justice, do you happen to know the location of a little blue planet called Earth?”

             Was this real? Korrina had to pinch herself to be sure.

          “Strike that, you’re worse than Gohan…” she mutters, before adding, “Space Pirates? Like Frieza’s gang?”

“I’ve never heard of this ‘Frieza’ person!” Samus replied.  “No, I speak of the Space Pirate species, led by that dastardly villain Ridley! They seek dominance of the entire galaxy, and will sink to any level to succeed!”

Cue a third dramatic pose.  “But every time Ridley and the Space Pirates have reared their ugly heads, I have been there to defeat them and save the galaxy! Along the way, I have dealt with the menace of Phazon, the Ing, and countless other dastardly foes that sought to sow chaos and destruction among the galaxy, to ruin the lives of those who live within the Galactic Federation!

“A hero of justice like myself will not be bested by such foul villains, however! It is my sworn duty to protect the galaxy, and so long as I have my friends at my back, I will never lose!”

“Course I’ve ran into Beerus! I actually trained under him for a while. Now I’m just focusing on TP stuff.” She felt a bit offended that it had to be asked, especially because Beerus and Whis tested the Toki Toki Heroes to fight Demigra, herself included. Don’t think she doesn’t remember that, since she trained like crazy for that fight.

            “No, I don’t mean that test nonsense or training under him! I mean, have you fought him yet?” She didn’t mean the test kind-of fought. She meant truly fighting Beerus. Going one-on-one with the god of destruction was no easy feat, and she was wondering how many others out there were like her. “It’s a trip and a half. You should try it some time--the big cat needs his attitude taken down a peg or two.”

          “No. I’m alright as I am, thank you, Astrid.” She sounds somber, almost. Another visit to her parents had given her the desire to give more than she took.

             There are times in every saiyan’s life where it’s worth wondering, ‘how the hell did I end up here?’

             Korrina did not expect today to be that day.

             She met a space-bounty-hunter who seemed to come out of a Japanese anime. Right down to the sour attitude. At first, her brain had to shut down and restart due to the magnitude of how dumb this was, but then she shook herself out of it, and finally managed to say,

          “Jesus, you’re just a ball of cheese.”

          “...Did Bardock try to tell you that Frieza is coming?” she hissed, “You should believe him. But you won’t. And it’s because you won’t that--” she swallowed hard; before Trunks summoned her, she was canonically dead, just like all the rest. Just like her parents. Just like her little brother. 

             Just like Aema. 

             She has to swallow hard, and it takes every bit of willpower and restraint she has to neither break down and cry, nor to reach over and strangulate the life from this stupid son-of-a-bitch right now. No, instead, she made an extremely reckless decision; if Trunks could try and change things with Gohan, she had to try to here.

          “My words might not change a damn thing, but you need to keep your eyes peeled. An enemy is coming, king, and he will destroy Vegeta. That much is unavoidable, but if you want the Saiyan race to live, you have to start sending children with good hearts to other worlds, other worlds that will raise them as their own. Do you understand me?”

Ibuki wasn’t paying attention until the other shouted and began to charge her energy, and turned her head at the other female when she felt the burst of power. Dropping down when the ground became a crater and landing headfirst, Ibuki’s scouter turned on, counting Korrina’s power level, until it couldn’t take it anymore. As she got up, it shattered, creating a small pile of dust before flying away in the wind. Rest in pieces, scouter; you have lived a long life. “You could have warned me, dude! What the hell!” She shouted, rubbing her head. “Now I have to get a new one…my scouter’s not meant to count the power levels…” She never really needed a scouter, since she could sense energy just fine. It was only worn for aesthetic. Ginyu Force aesthetic. Pouting, she watched her fellow Saiyan start to go to a level beyond Super Saiyan 3.

            “Come on, a scouter’s not worth that much!” Korrina rolls her eyes, “Don’t pout, it’s unbecoming for people like us.” Korrina folded her arms, “You run into Beerus, yet?” Subtle, Korrina. Very subtle. Trying to gauge your parallel-dimension self never was subtle, though.
