This is kinda a stupid question, but are W02 Floppy fin and SN090 Floppy the same whale?
No question is stupid! They are different individuals. W02 Floppy Fin is a member of the west coast community and is a Type 2 NA Orca and SN090/013/IS202 Floppy is a member of the Northern Isles pods and is a Type 1 NA Orca.A simple ID tool between the two for photos is their fins actually flop the opposite direction.

Broken Links
Frustratingly it seems Tumblr has broken a vast amount of source links from this page. Combine that with updated websites from the HWDT and the IWDG defaulting the majority of links to their main page, so if some links are working they are probably going to the wrong location.
It may take awhile to fix, but I am going to do my best, I do not like not sourcing photos or information from this page.

Hello anyone reading this, I’m back to running this page, I’ve been ill heck still am but this page (and the facebook) brought me joy to run and you should always do what brings you joy. So I have a lot of cobwebs to dust off and pages to update but I will get there. There will be no photos or gifs posted here anymore though, due to GDPR I think its best I stop doing that but links/videos anything I can share will be shared here, otherwise facebook will have it all.

It has been a very exciting day for Scottish Orca! The pod in the Clyde has been ID’d as 064′s group from the Northern Isles, 032 ‘Busta’s dorsal was finally caught on a good quality video.
Not the West Coasters in the end, this is their usual range the Northern Isles are definitely not where they are normally sighted so going forward this could be interesting.

@certifiedcervine reply to Last Confirmed Sightings  It’s quite common for long periods of time to go by between sightings! What with the population being so small and covering a large area that isn’t heavily populated. Three females were seen at the beginning of 2017 (01/03/2017) most likely W07,9 and 10 (Moneypenny, Puffin and Occasus) but they’re not confirmed sightings (ie ID shots taken)  Things are looking worrying for W03 Nicola though, she had quite an identifiable dorsal so if she had been in the group of females she would have probably been ID’d.
