The ceiling in our bathroom has collapsed under the weight of melting snow and ice.

That brown shit in the sink is from the ceiling, and the tote is filled with dirty water and insulation.

Even the landlord's own maintenance people admitted that it's now unsafe to live in, considering that there's exposed wiring and the rest of the ceiling could come down at any time.

We need to move out immediately. Like, soon. Another three to five inches of snow is expected tonight and when it melts, it's going to become very dangerous to stay here very quickly.

I don't have a goal because I don't know how much money our (shitty) landlord will compensate us for, but at least a couple hundred dollars' worth of our clothes were ruined because they were in a hamper in the bathroom, there are gonna be moving expenses, the new place might end up being more expensive if it's all we can find, plus my partner and I have both missed work.
