Y/n was finding it hard to keep their eyes open now, they had been writing for a while. It was one of their favourite things to do, but sometimes they just couldn’t form their thoughts into tangible sentences, it was like a brick wall blocking their thoughts from flooding free.

Poetry was such a beautiful art form, the problem was people classing it as ‘nonsensical’ or ‘boring’. They only had a few more verses to write before they went to bed, but the problem was that they had been stuck on this for at least the past half hour now.

A soft creaking jogged their thoughts, they craned their neck to see Ghostbur carrying a mug of hot chocolate, how he could do this they didn’t know - as he wasn’t exactly a solid being.

He placed it on their desk, making sure not to spill any on their sacred paper. He picked a page up and began to read, usually y/n didn’t want anybody to read any of their work; but they couldn’t say no to Ghostbur - he was so polite and could always appreciate every art form.

“This is beautiful! You could be famous!”

“Thanks Ghostbur.” They muttered, too distracted to really pay attention to him.

“What are you writing about now?”

“Nothing- it doesn’t work. I’ve been trying to make it work for hours.”

It was only then that he started to notice their dark eye bags and how much they were yawning.

“Why don’t you go to bed? You’ll have some fresh ideas in the morning!”

“Don’t want to lose my train of thought.”

Usually Ghostbur took everyone’s word for things, he was a bit of a pushover - unlike his alive self; but he knew that they should go to bed. He quickly grabbed all their papers and placed them high out of their reach.

“Hey! What was that for?”

He grabbed their arm and the hot chocolate and started to drag them away from their desk, sometimes you have to do things by force.😌☝️

They were forced into their bedroom and were told by him to get ready for bed in the most stern voice he could muster - which wasn’t very, but they hadn’t wanted to upset him. Finishing the hot chocolate, they got into bed and quickly fell asleep with a smile on their face. And when they woke up, they discovered that Ghostbur had been right, they did have fresh ideas.

hello!! i dunno if requests are open but i had an idea for techno 👁👁

possibly just... a fic of in-game! techno liking a harpy reader (a half-bird, half-human hybrid from greek mythology) basically the reader just has really big wings and bird-like tendencies 👉🏼👈🏼 could you make the reader a half snow owl so they're more adapted to the cold (and their wings are white so they look like an angel-) i just thought the idea was cool 🥺

Y/n hated the summer. It was far too hot, they definitely didn’t enjoy having sweat run off their feathers, it smelt awful and took forever to clean. That’s why they were currently laying face first in the snow. The cold had always bought them joy as a child, they had many fond memories from it, such as flying a couple metres from the ground and then landing very gracefully in a snow pile.

It was getting well into spring and they had decided that it was about time to take a well-deserved trip to see Technoblade. Honestly, it was a god send that he chose to live in the tundra. It was the perfect excuse to just go take a nice nap in the snow.

They sat up slowly and shook off the remaining snow from their wings and set off in a quest to the enigmas house.

The cold had numbed their body - making them feel more alive than they had in weeks. It’s strange how it works really isn’t it? They picked up their sword and plodded onwards, you never knew what you would come across in this land, they had learnt that the hard way.

Technos house wasn’t too far away now, the billowing of smoke kinda giving away his secluded home. So much for living discreetly. Y/n strutted on with determination, as much as they loved the cold - they did want to be able to feel their wings again.

They gave three quick raps to the large spruce door, they would normally knock with more of a chipper tune - but the last time they had done that, Techno had questioned whether they were drunk, apparently there was no other reasonable explanation for ‘playing his door like a marimba’.

He pulled open the door, greeting them with a breeze of warm air.

“Hi tech!” They chirupped.

“Hi”

He wasn’t really one for enthusiasm.

Y/n skipped past him in a beeline for a spot in front of the fireplace, their wings had practically turned to blocks of ice at this point.

“I thought you were supposed to be like Elsa or something?” He said with a bemused expression.

“Dude I wish- she’s so hot.”

“M’Kay.”

A puddle was starting to form at their feet so Techno hurried off to get a towel, they took it from his hands with a thanks. Slowly, they got to work drying their feathers, it was a boring job but it was worth it - it was the worst feeling having soggy wings, closely followed by having soggy sandwiches.

“Here,” Techno said, taking the towel from them, “I was falling asleep just watching.”

He gently dried their wings and got to the tedious job of pruning them. He straightened every feather - trying to not rip them out, he had learnt to be extra careful through experience. He shuddered at the memory.

“Done.”

“Thanks Tech! What would I do without you?” 🙂👍

“You’d be dead.”

“Well-”

“Nope, you’d be dead.” He interrupted, “Without a doubt”

With a sudden wave of exhaustion, y/n slumped onto the sofa, dragging Techno down with them, quickly being pulled into a side hug. He claimed he didn’t like affection, but they knew better; he was a big softy at heart. They wrapped an ivory wing around his back and closed their eyes. They loved domestic visits like this.
