you can never, ever know the deen of a person until you see them in a state of hardship and misfortune. not by their kalaam, not by their salaat, not by how they portray themselves or what you hear about them, but purely by the way they handle difficulty and keep their faith and trust in Allah when everything around them comes crashing down. that is true eeman, true deen.
