Headcanon that it’s only George that’s perceiving DreamXD as Dream. He pointed out the fact that they looked exactly the same, and even kept mistaking the two, while the others clearly could point out a difference well enough that they wouldn’t freak out thinking that that Dream broke out of prison the instant they saw him–  as well as be much more horrified by DreamXD while George was only ever just disturbed. /rp

especially in comparison to the 2022 droughts which were a cause of visa limbo and the dteam were all depressed waiting, plus we know that dreams building up a video vault so when we do get videos we'll get them regularly afterward :]

I feel like we are in a time where we just have to understand and read the room on certain situations. For instance, is it really a dteam content drought when sapnap streams daily? Hes 1/3 of a dteam member. I understand many don't like watching him on k!ck but we have a vods channel that uploads that streams on there. He streams daily on twitch.

We all know dream is working on a huge minecraft project, dteam as a whole are.

George had the March situation and honestly. I'm not demanding no content from him. Let that man heal first before wanting him to provide content.

this was fun and tbh im surprised i didnt pick up on some of the fun coincidences in the song to begin with bc i love dnap a lot

-"i'll be your number one fan" -> sapnap accidentally called himself dreams biggest fan instead of his friend on a stream once when talking about his music (i cannot for the life of me find the clip but i swear it happened)

-"i see the limelight" -> dream said there was hidden wordplay/meaning in this line that no ones found -> one theory that floated around was that it was also referencing his partners eye color, sapnap has green eyes. alternatively, dream also has green eyes and is of course closely associated with lime green and also makes sense if you choose to read this line from sapnaps pov, like you can with other lines

-"i wanna put you in the spotlight" -> dream convincing sapnap to do yt and blow up with him

-"ill follow anywhere you go" - dream said the nicest thing sapnap said to him was that even if he quit youtube, he'd follow him anywhere

-and of course the latest one, "watch the door when you get home, yelling no paparazzi" - relating to sapnap moving in with dream to answer the door to help protect his anonymity

ofc theres lots of other interpretations you can do with the rest of the lyrics but i thought these were the most specific ones that could directly reference something :D
