"Ah. Sinnoh, you say? Quite a distance from Unova." He pondered a bit more, his unusually bright blue eyes still on her. He knew he had to be careful with this woman. "May I ask what brings you here?" He figured as long as he was as cordial as possible, she wouldn't suspect a thing.

     She felt observed. Like, with his eyes, he was studying her.        Who knew what he was thinking about her,   in that mind of        his,  if  the considerations he was creating were even  near        to the truth about her or not. Oh well, it was better not linging        on such thoughts.  When he introduced himself,  the  name        was remembered by the girl.

       Of  course,  when she first came in Unova,  the  first  things        she got to know where about the gym leaders and the Elite        Four.  Not  that  she was collecting the  badges  needed  to        fight them ( though the idea was quite appealing ).

"Ah. Norman, you say? I do believe I've heard the name," he replied, tapping his chin with his finger. "As an Elite, I am... vaguely familiar with the Gym Leaders of other regions. Vaguely being the key word."

Oh, so this really was a member of the Unova Elite Four. It wasn’t often that Ruby met one of those. He was more interested in the Gym Leaders anyway.

"Oh, my name’s Ruby. I’m the son of Norman. Hoenn’s Normal Gym Leader." Though the teen wasn’t sure someone from Unova had heard of his father.

Grimsley tilted his head a bit at the boy approaching him, and, figuring that he was harmless, nodded and gave him a cordial smile. "Indeed, I am. And who might you be?"

Ruby might or might not have seen this guy before. Perhaps he could have mistaken him with someone else. It couldn’t hurt to ask, would it? And even if he was wrong, he could always apologize.

Carefully, Ruby approached the other. Making sure it was from the front and not from behind like last time he did that.

"Um, excuse me. But are you Grimsley from the Unova Elite Four?"

Grimsley became suddenly suspicious, as it just now clicked that she was one of the few to notice something off about him. He looked over the girl for a moment, as if pondering whether she was a vampire hunter, or a Vigilant, or another threat that he'd have to nip in the bud. Upon deciding that she didn't seem like any immediate danger to him, he simply assumed that the girl was just very observant.  "Not a problem. The name is Grimsley, and I'm of the Unova Elite Four." Perhaps that bit of information would dispel any ill intent the girl might be concealing.

                 ❝ It might be nothing— It’s probably a game                         of my mind… Forgive me. ❞

       The smirk wasn’t contemplated in the range of reactions        she  had  expected.  As much as she kept on looking  at        him,   Nelee  could  tell  that  there  was  something  she        couldn’t  grasp,  about that stranger.  A secret she  could        never get to know on her own.

Weird? Well, she was certainly more observant than most others. "Why, I'm quite all right," he smirked, careful to not show his teeth. His eyes were glowing a bit, but he didn't have much control over that. As long as he didn't... transform in front of the girl, he didn't care much.
