Im back to rant about the abomination that is tru*mai cause im annoyed

trunks as a whole, both future and present would've just been better left single (because not every character needs a romantic relationship) but if they wanted to give him a fem love interest they could've EASILY created a new character for him-like come on there's no excuse since super introduced a bunch of new chars- and make her into a interesting character while simultaneously building up a relationship with trunks (imagine him being paired with a saiyan woman that woulda been lit) but given this series track record with female characters and romantic relationships that would've been too much to ask

instead they decided to bring back an irrelevant decades old character, age her down and completely warp and change her character all for the sake of forcing her into that shitty ass, poorly written cringe romance... like on the list of reasons why i dislike super, that is one of the main ones

I end up side eyeing a lot of people with bisexual headcanons. Not that I’m against them, I’m all for seeing more bi hcs as a bisexual, in fact I hope to see more. But a lot of people seem to use bisexuality as a tool for the sake of their ship and only seem to care about characters being bi so they can be (and only be) with a character of the same sex–and then turn around and completely ignore or erase the characters attraction to the opposite sex. And get mad when people ship that character with the opposite sex (Bonus if the character has only shown attraction to the opposite sex.  Extra bonus if that character in question is a male)

Don’t even get me started on how when a character is implied to be same sex attracted, fandoms will flip their shit if people dare headcanon them as bisexual, because apparently they can only be gay and only gay people are attracted to the same sex.

I mean it may not be a big deal to some, but as a bisexual I really hate how people act when it comes to bisexual headcanons

Passing around for this site and the Migratory Slash Fandom™ is that apparently a lot of bi people have internalised biphobia because apparently the New Rule for Bisexual Representation™ is that a character has to be shown at least flirting with one person of the same sex or they are Officially Not Bi Enough™. And now we have to be Angry if A Bisexual Is Shown to Like the Opposite Sex Without Having Them Fuck Another Person of the Same Sex™.

Glad to know that the LGBT community would just treat us like our homophic parents would but just with the sexes switched. Tumblr fandom really failed when folks decided that shipping was a reflection of morality, and that any ships other than m/m and w/w ships were a moral failing.

It’s why you see all m/w ships as the enemy. It’s why you see two canon nonbinary characters who are canonically in love, and you call it queerbaiting because they’re not gay men. It’s why you get angry when a bi character has a romance with someone of the opposite binary gender. It’s why you’re angry now about a romance between two canonically genderfluid bisexual characters. And frankly, your moral rage isn’t justified even if those characters were cis and straight. 

You’re allowed to dislike a canon ship. That doesn’t make it immoral, problematic, or bigoted.
