Hi pals !! It’s been a while since I posted here since I took about a year hiatus to fix my life. With current events I figured I’d update you on the progression of my art, and subsequently my ocs!!! If you scroll far enough u will find ancient relics of the first drafts of these babies and they have come quite far in that amount of time !! Here they are starting with (top-> bottom left-> right) Sagiso Haruno (part 1 then shippuden), Yukimachi Engei (part 1 then shippuden), Sagiso, her future partner Hiroto and their twins, Hiroto on his own as an angsts teen boy, Ken Murasaki (I’ll post his shippuden look later ;3 ), Midori Ryokucha, Kirimi Ryokucha, and then once again Sagiso in part 1. They all had pretty hefty glow ups and if you would like to see more of them please let me know !! 💛

Do you have any symbols/motifs/themes/etc. that you’re currently trying to get across or plan to get across?
Not short game, no. Right now I’m focused on developing my characters a little more. I enjoy doing that in a blog or ask-based forum which is why I didn’t come into the rp game with a fully developed character. I think it’s fun to grow them with other people! Now long game, I do want to make a character for every color of the rainbow. I call them the rainbow crew in my brain and I just think it’s fun to try to plan out an outfit or character design with one color in mind. It really affects their attitude and personality for me.

Hello!
Sagiso’s relationship with her mother, Yoko, was actually really great. Before she died her mother basically did everything for her and her father, cooking, cleaning, packing lunches, making beds, traditional housewife stuff. When she wasn’t doing that she ran a small flower shop. She would say it was the least she could do while her father was out on missions and Sagiso was training to be a ninja. When Sagiso was home and not in school or busy with training, she would try to teach Sagiso how to cook or other simple household deeds, it didn’t turn out well so she ended up giving Sagiso a few clan books on fuinjutsu that her parents had given her. Sagiso still has them and it was her need to be more like her mother that sparked her love for sealing Jutsu.
Sagiso’s relationship with her father, Daichi, is a little more complicated. They were best friends, he began training her as soon as she could walk, and she always looked up to him and was determined to become a strong ninja like her father. When her mother died Sagiso and her father were both frustrated at themselves for separate reasons. They had many heated arguments and once Sagiso even told him she hated him because he let her mother die, which she immediately regretted and apologized for. They were rocky from then on until Sagiso called him out for being absent emotionally and physically from the family (he had been binging missions to take his mind off of everything and trying to lose the guilt he carries for Yoko’s death) which actually forced them to talk about everything. She admitted to being a brat and said she didn’t understand how to deal with her feelings on her mother’s death, he admitted to nearly giving up on everything. Now they are back to being very close, and they help each other and go to each other with everything. Daichi does everything he can to be inclusive in Sagiso’s life and to help her as much as possible, but neither of them are good with cooking so he usually brings home takeout for them to eat. Sundays they spend with each other, if they can, they go and visit Yoko’s grave and they spend as much time with her as they can before their jobs pull them away. They both miss Yoko dearly and sometimes Sagiso does harbor bitterness towards her father but knows it’s not his fault that she is gone.

Just finished another reference for Sagiso! She’s w her team and honestly I love me some colorful babies. Purple Boi™️ is my new fav💕 i haven’t worked out much for her teammates and her sensei other than the fact that they are old enough to be doing solo missions but they all are around each other quite often. If you want to interact with any of my other ocs, you can! I don’t have names yet for them so just specify which ones and maybe you can help me brainstorm for them as well!
