Self Insert Birthday Countdown Day 24 (Final Day)!!

Ft. Maleficent from Rise of the Guardians

Maleficent’s represented as the Pumpkin Queen and brings candy to children on Halloween night while also giving them a fun little scare. Her center is courage. She is 2,400 years old but she physically looks like she’s in her late 20s/early 30s. She fell in love with Bunnymund after becoming a guardian and the two become a couple. The reason she held a grudge against Jack Frost was because of the 2011 blizzard that happened on Halloween in the north eastern United States and Atlantic Canada. She’s kinda like Jack Frost where she’s fun-loving and enjoys being around the children she protects but unlike Jack, she knows when to get serious. Her personality is kinda a mix of Jack and Bunnymund’s. Her main weapon of choice are candy bombs which create multicolored smoke. They’re mostly used as a diversion so the other guardians can attack. She also has a candy sword, the end being made out of licorice and the blade made out of candy corn. She also can turn into a bat to travel. She also used to date the pumpkin king when she was allied with pitch and the two were forced into marriage but Maleficent objected to the wedding and they broke it off due to disagreements. Now we currently don’t know what happened to the pumpkin king. We don’t know if he’s a neutral party or still allied with Pitch.

Self Insert Birthday Countdown Day 23!!

Ft. Maia from Ice Age!!

Maia is among the dire wolf who aren’t domesticated by humans. She is a part of a pack that rival the saber tooth tigers. Although as fate would have it, Maia and Diego first met as kids after wandering off from their packs. They kept their friendship a secret for years until Maia’s pack leader caught onto this and forbid Maia from ever going near the sabers. A couple more years went by and Maia’s pack come across human hunters who were chasing a family of mammoths. Maia’s leader orders the pack to go after the father, realizing it’s away from its family. Maia refuses to do so and leaves her pack for good. As she runs off, she stops when she runs into Diego. He tries to ask her what’s going on, only for her to continue running. For the next couple years, Maia wanders the forests alone, keeping herself hidden in fear of her pack finding her. One day, Maia is looking for something to hunt when she comes across a sloth. She pounces and grabs a hold of his neck, only for her to get pushed away from the sloth. Before she could attack the culprit, her eyes soften when she recognizes who had her pinned down. It was Diego. They unfortunately couldn’t catch up for long because as it turned out, there’s a huge flood coming their way and Diego along with the sloth Maia was trying to kill, Sid, two mammoths, Manny and Ellie, and two opossums, Crash and Eddie, are heading to a boat to avoid the flood. She is invited to tag along with the herd to which at first she rejects, but gives in after being convinced by Diego. I’ll keep this next bit of info brief, but by the end of The Meltdown, Diego and Maia start dating. Then Dawn of the Dinosaurs happens, Maia hears about Diego’s desire to leave due to him feeling like he’s loosing his edge, she gets pissed and the two break it off. After they get roped into finding Sid who was taken by an angry t-Rex mother, the two reconcile and get back together. Continental Drift then happens, Maia along with Diego, Manny, Sid and his granny are separated from Ellie and Peaches and now have to find their way back home. “What about 5?” That movie sucks it’s not canon in my AU lol

Self Insert Birthday Countdown Day 20!!

Ft. Magril Opossum from Guardians of the Galaxy!!

Magril is an anthropomorphic female opossum who becomes a part of the Guardians of the Galaxy. Just like Rocket, she is an experiment from Halfworld made by the High Evolutionary, given the ability to walk on her hind legs and verbally speak, as well as some combat skills. Magril was also given a mechanical endo-skeleton tail that allows her to hang onto surfaces upside down for a long period of time, and a removable camera lens for her left eye. It can capture and record photos and videos in real time where she can archive and project them through the lens. Her main weapon is a baton that can transform from a switchblade, to a polearm and even to a whip. It even got upgraded in Vol. 2 by Rocket so it can later turn into a scythe. In Vol. 1, Magril is a Ravager who volunteers to go after Quill and capture him after he betrays Yondu Udonta. The real reason why she volunteered was so she could protect Quill, having a strong sibling-like connection with him. And to also figure out why the hell he chose to betray the Ravagers over a small dingy orb. It is here where Magril is reunited with Rocket Raccoon, a fellow Halfworld experiment she was once friends with. The two unfortunately don’t see eye to eye right away, often bickering due to their clashing views on situations. Rocket pushing away Magril’s kindness and compassion doesn’t help matters either. Along the journey, they do soften up, even developing more than platonic feelings toward one another, not only due to their nostalgic memories, but through their experience as a part of this ragtag group of losers, dubbed the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Ft. Mary-Ann from The Muppets (Modern)

Mary-Ann is a muppet who is Walter and Gary’s childhood friend. Mary-Ann was Walter’s only friend and Walter would hyperfixate on the Muppets with her when he couldn’t with Gary and she’s fully supportive of it. When Mary-Ann grew up to be an adult, she applied in the same elementary school as Mary. She wanted to be an art teacher but the school rejected her because she’s a muppet. She vented to Walter, her now boyfriend, about it and he said she shouldn’t give up on her passions like he hasn’t even after some people would laugh at him for liking the muppets. When Walter was given the opportunity to officially become a member of the Muppets, Mary-Ann went into full supportive gf mode. She was his personal cheerleader. But she knew choosing between his dream and his brother was going to be difficult for Walter, so Mary-Ann encouraged him to decide for himself, to follow his heart. We’ve all seen the 2011 film, we know he joins the muppets, but what about Mary-Ann? Well she actually helped the muppets in terms of painting the set artwork and the set design in general so she was offered a spot as well. It wasn’t her original dream of being an art teacher, but she was still able to bring some good with her art so she happily signed on as one of the official set artists who’d also occasionally join on stage for skits and performances

Self Insert Birthday Countdown Day 18!!

Ft. Mabelle (Hudson) McMissile from Cars!!

Mabelle is Doc Hudson’s daughter. She works as a waitress at Flo’s V8 Cafe. She looks up to her father a lot and her protective nature rubbed off from him. When she found out what happened to him during his last race she was devastated and vowed to make her father proud of her like how everyone should’ve been proud of him. This makes her really insecure about herself and she feels she has to be perfect in every way but she later learns she is her own person and she can be looked up to by being who she is, not who her father was. During Cars 2 while in Tokyo, Japan, Mabelle bumps into an international spy named Finn McMissile. She along with Mater get roped up in Finn and his assistant Holley’s mission to stop Professor Z from destroying cars using Allenol fuel. Finn and Mabelle fall in love during the events of the film and at the end they get together. A few months later Finn proposes to Mabelle and they get married a year before Cars 3. After the two get married Mabelle decides to become a spy part time along with being a waitress.

Ft. Madeline Willow from Wreck-It Ralph!

(I almost missed today whoops)

Madeline is from the game Lady Lumberjack which is next door to Fix-It Felix Jr. Basically the task in Lady Lumberjack is to control Madeline and cut down trees and turn the wood into cabins using her magic axe for people who need homes. When her game is first plugged in (which would be a few months before the events of the first film) she would get to know Felix and Ralph. (Felix’s being a simp for her throughout but her not noticing). She was invited to the 30th anniversary of Fix-It Felix Jr. and she meets Skyla there and the two get along. After Ralph wrecks the party, Madeline goes after him despite Felix’s attempts to stop her and then the rest of the movie happens. She’s 4’9 so she’s slightly shorter than Felix who is 4’11. And she’s the most stubborn person you’ll ever meet. More stubborn than Felix was when he convinced Calhoun to have him come with her to Sugar Rush. At the end of the film, they end up getting together (sorta the same way Felix gets with Calhoun in the og film).

Self Insert Birthday Countdown Day 16!!

Ft. Mackenzie Hicks from The Florida Project

Did you expect me making a self insert for an A24 film? I didn’t either but here we are.

Anyways, Mackenzie is Bobby’s daughter. She moved back to Florida to help her father out with the motel he manages. She was super reluctant about it, before moving back, she was living on her own and it felt amazing, not that she hated her family or anything. But she couldn’t just leave her Bobby alone so she went and moved anyway. She’s someone I’d describe with a tough shell personality. On the outside, she’s very reclusive, keeps to herself a lot of the time and puts on a firm persona. But she’s soft around her father and sometimes Moone and the other kids, showing her caring side. Which is why she hates Hailie as much as she does. She understands that the life of a single mom at such a young age can be difficult, especially with their living conditions, but she doesn’t agree with the way she parents Moonee sometimes. She’s backed off, knowing this was none of her business and she had no right to judge considering she isn’t a mother herself. That is until those photos of her… (if you’ve seen the movie you know) get spread around and her friend Ashley tells Hailie she and Moonee aren’t allowed anywhere near her or her son Scooty. A physical altercation happens and Mackenzie runs straight inside Ashley’s apartment to break them up. This leads to both Ashley and Mackenzie getting pretty nasty injuries. After the ending of the film, no matter what way you interpret the ending, Mackenzie and Bobby are forced to return to their own lives. Everything that happened with Hailie and Moonee still plague their minds, but one thing is for sure. Mackenzie’ll never forget Moonee.

Ft. Maci Anderson from Detroit: Become Human

Maci is Hank’s niece. She also soon becomes Connor’s girlfriend. She’s 24, she was born in Knoxville, Tennessee and she lived with a loving mother (Hank’s sister) and her biological father. At the age of eight, Maci’s father unalived her mother due to a drunken rage and he was put in jail. This devastated Maci because her mother was her favorite person besides Hank. At nineteen she graduated college and got a sergeant role in the GPD (Gatlinburg Police Department) and also changed her last name to her mother’s maiden name, Anderson to further distance herself from her father and also because she considered Hank more of a father to her than her own father. (That’s why her current last name is Anderson, not Miles). Two years later she found out that Hank’s son Cole and his previous wife were killed in a car crash. She then moved in with him to keep him company over the trauma of losing his family and ended up joining the DPD alongside her uncle. Three years after she joins the DPD she meets Connor and falls in love with him over time throughout the game’s events. Maci was at first scared Hank would be mad at her but he reassured her that it was fine saying that he cared more about her happiness.

Self Insert Birthday Countdown Day 14!!

Ft. Madeira from The Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023)

Madeira owned a little bakery in the heart of Brooklyn, New York nearby the place Mario and Luigi used to work before starting their own business. The two would visit the bakery often during their lunch breaks, to the point where Madeira knew exactly when the brothers would arrive each day and baked the them their usuals so they would be ready and fresh by the time they got there. If I had to describe Madeira and Luigi as a ship dynamic, they’re both super oblivious and can’t flirt smoothly for the life of them. Before they got together, it was obvious to everyone BUT Madeira and Luigi that they were in love with each other. Even Mario was getting tired of pointing out the obvious that Madeira did in fact like Luigi back and he wasn’t “overthinking” things. During the events of the film, Madeira’s bakery is completely flooded and takes massive damage as a result of the mass flooding in Brooklyn. When the three come across a mysterious pipe in the sewers, they’re sucked into an unfamiliar world. And the worst part, Luigi and Madeira are separated from Mario! The two end up captured by Bowser and locks them in prison, giving Mario motivation to make his way to his kingdom. As Bowser is planning the wedding for him and Princess Peach, he learns Madeira is a baker and forces her to make his wedding cake or she’d face execution right there on the spot. She hesitantly agrees, the whole time being petrified over Luigi and the rest of the prisoners fates. Luckily she didn’t have to worry for long as Mario and Princess Peach with the aid of Donkey Kong and Toad crash the wedding and save Luigi’s life. This is went Madeira and Luigi get together btw lololol. After everything that happened, the brothers decide to move to the Mushroom Kingdom along with Madeira. Her bakery back in Brooklyn was also her home so she had nowhere else to go. After Princess Peach hears about Madeira’s bravery while being held captive by Bowser from Luigi, she offers Madeira a job as the Mushroom Kingdom’s royal baker, the kingdom providing her her own new bakery in the middle of town and the works.
