PHASE 3: TRANSFORMATIVE MANGROVE
Thailand faces flooding ewery year from the consequence of deforestation and the invasion of human activities. The population of mangrove is gradually decreasing from 2,500,000 Rai to only 1,200,000 Rai. Since mangrove forest located on the frontline of the coastal, they have to decelerate the wave attenuation. The process of deceleration consumes a lot of mangrove energy which effects the reproductive system. Mangrove can no longer spread their seed, therefore, they automatically decrease faster.
In this phase, considering a scissor mechanism I decided to design an infrastructure that mimics the function of the mangrove. The design would help the regrowth mangrove forest. It can transform their structure to adapt to wave dynamics. However, after mangrove forest has been regrowth, the structure can
resemble and move somewhere else.

VI.II MOTION GRAPHICS 2.0
In workshop 6.2, continue working with After Effects CC (AE) but this time student has to make a motion graphic to introducing CNC machine. Some of the best videos will be selected to exhibit at ASA Exhibition 2017.

VI.I MOTION GRAPHICS 1.0
Workshop 6.1 will introduces basic features of motion graphics and visual effects by using Adobe After Effects CC (AE). Each student will be given a 3D model, then start exploring a variety of features inside AE.

IV.I CONSTRUCTING IMAGE
In this assignment, each student will be given 2 rendered models; 1 from an external and 1 from an internal point of view. After that use collaging techniques to construct images based on rendered views and photographs.

III RHINO TO AI WORKFLOW
The workshop will introduce the workflow between Rhinoceros 3D and adobe illustrator. We will go through exporting different projections from a 3D model to line editing, surface colouring, patterns and accents.

On this session, continue improving Grasshopper. This week will use openstreetmaps.org and excel to cross reference our location logged by phone with online mapping services.

I SCRIPTING
This phase will introduce Grasshopper, a plug-in forRhinoceros, which has a variety of functions. Grasshopper has a visual interface which sets it apart from other scripting plugins and languages.

V.I THE ROOM; ONE POINT PERSPECTIVE
In this workshop, composing the different geometric forms by using one-point perspective drawing, two-poInts perspective and three-points perspective. Later, using rhinoceros and adobe photoshop to create digital collage technique.
