i get the feeling of wanting to share discords. when you click with a partner, you want a way to find them offsite... i have some great friends i met through roleplay. but it makes sense to ban the sharing of discords when it leads to problems like THIS. 

here’s hoping my new partner who i was getting on great with knows what’s going down, can never really ensure someone is on tumblr or in the discord. i look forward to continuing our planning when the site comes back, i was really excited about the premise. 

in the meantime maybe i should look into mxrp again...

in positive news, the reply was to someone i thought was never going to reply to me to begin with... they finally did (said my response got buried) and i love their writing and the story premise. so at least i’m working on that!

have over 30 unread though. because i;m all kinds of impulsive and non committal.

funny you should claim the kink encourages grooming when f-list never has scares of this caliber despite allowing the kink and having a much larger userbase.

maybe the issue isn’t “allowing ageplay in roleplay” but “some people are freaks and anonymity emboldens them”- but we’re not giving up anonymity, so we just have to be more careful to ensure those who could actually be harmed stay off the site.  which is, once again, how f-list solves it.

you failed to account for the fact that you’re not having actual intercourse with a real person. youre not topping or bottoming for anyone. you’re just thinking about characters in your imagination space.

finally decided to make my own rp blog, for general rp talk. i’m not too fussed with staying anonymous, so if you recognize me from the discord, hi! 

cherp is kind of messy due to cherub’s code, but i like it, and look forward to the rewrite. i’ve found so many good rps on cherp, and the site doesn’t disallow anything but rpf, which i can agree with. i think it’s important to give people a space where they can play out their wildest fantasies in a controlled environment, as long as said fantasies are kept strictly within the rp and not imposed upon the other living, breathing person on the other side of the screen.

i have a fair number of prompts up, both fandom and oc. my most recent one got about a dozen connects and i’m sort of expecting more; it’s a little overwhelming, but I’m glad to have written a prompt that jives with so many people. it was definitely a bit of a self-indulgent thing on my part. big props to the people in the discord who helped me come up with it.

and big thanks to shen, ttm, and insolent for keeping things running! you guys are the best!
