CHIPS (POTATO CHIPS)
Tumblr media
Potato chips are crunchy slices of thin potatoes that are baked or fried until crunch. Potato chips originates from the United Kingdom in 1817 and is commonly served as a snack, a side dish, or as an appetizer.
With the snack industry growing exponentially, the conversation of DEI(diversity, equality, and inclusion) would really be impactful and go a long way if incorporated properly. Especially in North America where discrimination and racism is mostly noticeable because of how diverse this continent is.
In order to do so, snacking in itself, should be a reminder that purposefully makes us as a community work together towards a harmonious unity deliberately.
Although potatoes are grown everywhere and potato chips are made almost everywhere now a days which makes that an effort towards inclusion on a small-scale, a lot more can be done to make DEI(diversity, equality, and inclusion) as noticeable and as visible as hatred, discrimination and racism is in our society today.
This can start in casual small talk and conversations in our homes and amongst ourselves and friends to elaborate on how important it is to be inclusive.
So as the chips is creating a form of reminder for us to be inclusive (because of the origin and how it’s all over the world), the industry itself with its influence and power over consumers can invest more and towards a world again discrimination, hate, and racism!!!!!
REPUTATION MANAGEMENT
The five star of reputation includes
Visibility
Transparency
Distinctiveness
Consistency
Authenticity
These are key to maintain a company’s reputation good. And as Warren Buffet once said, although all companies goal is to make profit and gain interest, losing dollars for a firm will be understanding, however, losing reputation for the girl will be ruthless”.

With the broad scope of types of cakes in terms of flavour, colour, shape, various different ingredients, size, and taste, cakes still however, always turns out to be enjoyed greatly by the masses that consider it so. BURGERS
Tumblr media
Burgers, a sandwich consisting of cooked patties of any ground meat or or beef, or a chicken, is a popular snack for a lot of Americans. However, eaten by people from all walks of life as a breakfast or a daily course of the day meal.
Although sold vastly different by the various fast food restaurants, burgers still consist of the 2 main ingredients being the buns and whatever meat choosing if the customer. The fillings of the burger can compromise of anything the restaurant is offering.
Just as a burger, we as people should be opened to the idea of inclusion, equality, and diversity. This can range from the sexual orientation of a person, their race, skin colour, hair texture, and all any other thing that makes them unique from the majority.
Just as the fillings of a burger will enhance the taste of it, so will being diverse, inclusive, and treating everyone equally will be just as rewarding. It will be an adventure to see what is out there other than sticking with the regular ways of doing things. Everyone will be happier and the world will be a much happier space for generations to come.

BURRITOS
Tumblr media
Burrito, a Mexican cuisine widely known in America (both North and South) is a dish very similar to Tacos, sharwama, and other food wraps that I will be discussing in the upcoming weeks: stay tuned!
Burrito, consisting of a flour tortilla as its base, can differ from just about how one would like to have it.
This is what makes it an interesting subject to discuss as a good in terms of how it resembles/furthers the topic of diversity, equality, and inclusion in our world today.
The tortilla base, which comes in different flavoured colours from spinach (green), tomato (red), and wheat (brown) in itself originates from Guatemala, making the dish already diverse already although it’s not completed yet. The vegetables like lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, onions, the various sauces, are all grown and produced in different places even if from the same country. Same goes to the meat/chicken used in the making of a burrito.
A burrito is a beautifully vivid representation of how delicious and perfect diversity, inclusion, and equality looks, feels, and taste like so to speak!!!

Tumblr media
My content each week will differ but build around the same idea of how food doesn’t discriminate, hence bringing us together in unity.
I will as well touch on learning materials from my social media class lectures.
Think about it: when it comes to food, we really want the satisfy and quench our hunger. Regardless of the background (whether they know or “like” the people, their beliefs and culture) of which the food originates from, if made accessible and one happens to enjoy it, they go for it anyways.
Foods that originate from places like
Toronto, Chicago, Paris, Italy, Mediterranean, Dubai, and a lot more will be explored in the coming weeks. Patiently look forward to it.
Stay tuned:)
