When you meet "the one" don't expect them to fix you and always make you happy. That's not their job, it's God's. Their goal should be to help you draw closer to Christ and be more like Him and vice versa. When you meet them you're gonna have baggage, as will they. It's through Christ you will help each other to remove that baggage and grow stronger in Him.

I know you’re busy, I know you’re tired, but still make time for God. He is worth every minute you have.

everyday i thank God for the language of empathy. as believers we should always practice our empathy and comprehension of trauma. God has ministered to me through people in this way and has healed my heart through empathetic and caring people. a hug, a gentle word, a simple acknowledgment really shows the love of God.

“May the most holy, most sacred, most adorable, most incomprehensible and unutterable Name of God be always praised, blessed, loved, adored and glorified in Heaven, on earth, and under the earth, by all the creatures of God, and by the Sacred Heart of Our Lord Jesus Christ, in the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar. Amen.”
The Golden Arrow Prayer, Jesus gave it to Sister Mary of St. Peter, a Carmelite nun in France, in August of 1843.
Sister Mary called it “an Act of Praise that our Lord Himself dictated to me, notwithstanding my unworthiness, for the reparation of Blasphemy [insulting or disrespectful thoughts or behavior] against His Holy Name.”

“My heart is always united to Jesus, who more and more consumes me. Oh my most sweet Jesus, I would wish to be all dissolved in the midst of the flames of Your Love. Oh, how can I correspond, my God, since You have given me so much? Who will help me in this? To Your Mercy alone I owe the little love that there is in my poor heart for Thee.”
— Saint Gemma Galgani

Holy Angel, attendant of my afflicted life, forsake me not, a sinner. Give no place to the evil demon to subdue me with the oppression of this mortal body; but take me by my weak and outstretched hand, and lead me in the way of salvation. Yes, O holy angel of God, the guardian and protector of my soul and body, forgive me for all I have done to trouble you today and all the days of my life. Shelter me tonight and keep me from every affront of the enemy, lest I anger God by any sin; and intercede with the Lord in my behalf, that He might strengthen me in the fear of Him, and make me a worthy servant of his goodness. Amen.
