Your Holiness, Freya Utma.
You have no idea the big emotional attachment I have to this character.
She's actually the female version of my OC Ferran Utma who was the main antagonist in a role play game I had with my highschool friends a decade ago. We ran a parallel game with genderbent versions of our characters in a different story. At first, Freya was just an old lady in charge of a castle which was a neutral place for political issues. I didn't have any plans for her at all, in fact I played her role as a side character, then a fellow player convinced me to give her the same traits as Ferran, who is a demigod in charge of executing the word of the Goddess.
Although Ferran and Freya are essentially the same, they are nothing alike. Ferran's life has evolved around war and his destiny is to lead the last fight against humans. On the contrary, Freya has managed to avoid big conflicts by doing what is necesary regardless if it is cruel or fair.
Freya grew to be chaotic good, taking most of her lessons from the humans rather than her own race (magical creatures). She is pretty aware of her duty as well as her own power.
Being a longevous creature she has lived as a priestess, as a common creature, as an errant, as a leader, as a witch, as a queen, as a mentor. She has many names and faces but her true self lands in the line between the peace and chaos.
She can be mercy. She can be doom.
She has done right and wrong equally.

I hear a clear Puerto Rican accent with a hint of American English when LMM talks in Spanish. When he talks in English I only hear American accent plus his particular voice pitch. It's amazing how the voice of the same person switches with the spoken language.
I like the mixed parentage idea, after all, Crackshell sounds proper for an American last name within the Ducktales lore. So to me he is American (which can be another discussion on its own) on his dad side plus Latino on his mom side.
Anyway, I can see why most people go for Puerto Rico but I don't want to stick to it just for LMM. It is still quite plausible given the political relationship between these countries.
I have been thinking about Cuban Fenton because I find their culture towards magic and religion quite interesting, sadly that has very little to do with Fenton's character. But it seems to be the second most popular option (I blame the Wiki for that).
And I think Chilean Fenton would be fun too. I love their Spanish, beautiful accent imo.
Honestly, I like any Latino version of him. I wish this cartoon had had a bigger impact in Latino America.
This is something that has been bugging me for a while.
Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera served as Latino representation in the reboot series and while I like his character I think not pointing to an specific country for his roots gives the freedom to choose (specially to Latinos who would like to project) but at the same time it feels lazy, like another American production throwing all Latino cultures in the same bag.
The DT Wiki claims he has Cuban roots but I don't think there's a canon source for this, isn't it? Correct me if I'm wrong.
Another popular country is Puerto Rico because of LMM (his VA) ancestry.
Anyway, I'd like to hear your headcanons about him, tell me which country did you pick and why. Was he born there? Does he visit said country? I'd like to hear everything.
Tumblr media
Oh, and if you are Latino I'll gladly take drawing request of Fenton doing something related to your culture, for example: Fenton drinking mate, Fenton saying your favorite insult.

Hey everybody, I lost my job :)))) The company I worked in has been plagued with bad leadership and idiotic decisions, so it was only a matter of time before it gets into bankruptcy, like it did.
I did see this coming as my old lovely ex-colleague from this company kept me updated of all news since last summer, so this was only a matter of time.
As my income drops now while the rent, electricity and food prices have gone up, your support and help is more than needed. Please do some of the following:
Join my Patreon
Order a reading from Etsy (all readings available also via email and Kofi payments at [email protected])
Drop me Kofi
Drop me Paypal support
Let me about know any open jobs (doesn't matter in what country or city)
Tell people to read my comics
Send me your good vibes.
This is a temporary situation until I have gotten a new job.

This!!
I know Fenton never interacted with Panchito or Jos茅, but I love the idea of them traveling together, they would like to teach Fenton what really is to live in Latin America.
I drew this long ago for fun, I should draw them again in a more positive situation 馃槄

That's an interesting point of view, thanks!
To me Fenton doesn't strikes as someone who has lived in Latin America (or at least not long enough) because he lacks some traits, unlike his mom who has a little accent and speaks more Spanish than he does. My headcanon is that he was born and raised in Duckburg, his grandparents are the ones who migrated when Mar铆a was still young.
So yeah, I would discard Center America too.
This is something that has been bugging me for a while.
