Kudos to Kisses Like Rain, because it took me on an emotional ride! The emotions I felt were hope, shock, discomfort (check the wârnings), love and happiness. Sabella’s journey in this book and series was beautiful to witness. Angelo was definitely a one-of-kind anti-hero: “Like the two-headed wolf, he carries his duality inside him. He’s a beautiful god and an invincible demon.” Did he redeem himself and were Sabella and Angelo “irreparably damaged?” You’ll have to read this epic book and series to find out!

Hate Like Honey honed in on the hate! 👑👑👑👑 [4/5]

I was immediately shocked with what transpired at the beginning of the book, and that feeling continued throughout the story. The revelations throughout the book kept me glued to the pages. As the book’s title implies, the author honed in on the hate between Sabella and Angelo. From Angelo, “I desire and despise her in equal measures, a situation of my own making.” From Sabella, “He’s never looked more like the angel his name implies, but it’s not a kind or gracious angel. He’s darkness and danger personified, both beautiful and cruel.” Angelo was downright cruel to Sabella at the end of this book, and I didn’t like it or him by that point. I don’t know if or how this author will redeem him, but that’s why I will read the next book!

Dirty Little Vow was a tension-filled, emotional story with a little bit of steam. As I said in my review for book two, I appreciated Tyler’s journey and that Bella was his equal. Bella was a strong woman, and I admired that. This was a dynamic ending to Tyler and Bella’s story that I recommend!
