Sid sighed, fingers leaving the cigarette to rub the frown from her brow. She’d been unceremoniously dumped, and though she wasn’t that upset, she was still a little blue. “Ja, see, the trouble with me is that I am all wolf, and she wasn’t a witch, but a blood-sucking vampire! And werewolves and vampires don’t mix,” she breathed in through her mouth, and exhaled smoke from her nose. “Oh well. Life goes on, I suppose.”
