Hey.

Hi there folks, Mzov here with yet another update on progress with RR and SSN.

I have nothing to show for it. But let me explain my fairly hectic february and march.

In february I begun working on 3 chapters at once to make up for the lack of any actual progress caused by collegework, I figured you'd want something significant after this much waiting.

This was a mistake.

You see, I don't have any luck with computers, and my awful laptop, a lenovo ideapad 320, is on its fourth year of use. It wasn't always mine and the previous owner wasn't too kind to it, running games that would overheat the already untrustworthy hardware.

This has had consequences on my usage of it, ever since last year;

Occasionally the keyboard just stops working and I have to restart in a very specific manner. This isn't a problem anymore, but the lack of solutions to it before I found the solution had a bad effect on my mental health, as I had brief periods of anxiety where I couldn't be sure if I could use the thing, or it'd just stop working. It wasn't a driver issue, it's a hardware problem, so restarting the drivers did nothing, and just kept me anxious.

After I discovered the solution another problem showed itself. My hard drive died.

And with that, there goes all I had. You can imagine where my mental state was, especially given this is the computer I use for college.

(I still have a backup of all the assets for these projects from a few months before in my flash storage, so don't worry about that, I can still work on things.)

After it returned, I took a break from my creative endeavors, only to realize I forgot my tumblr password.

This is solved now, but yeah, small issue blown up through my panic, led me to be very demotivated.

I'm back though, so hey.

Idea is to restart work on the chapter, rewrite it, as the notes on it are all gone, and go back into this with an open, calmer mind.

Again, very sorry for leaving you folks in the dark, safe to say I was... Unable to give any updates. Maybe wiping the discord was a mistake, given it would've been good to at least give an informal update or two.

Is the new part almost done? Not to rush or anything, but you said that the assets and writing and stuff were done back in April (I think) so I'm just curious.

Don't worry, I'm actually just abysmal at communication and may have kept you guys in the dark unintentionally, past a few small comments.

Everything is done, I just need to work on the project at all. When I started RR I had finished my second year of highschool, now I'm in college and rather swamped. There's also the fact i started dating, so a lot of my free time goes to that person too. As usual, I'm real sorry I can't get much done nowadays, but I'm always working on the comics on the side, doing concept art for future chapters, writing, working on animation assets, etc.

I think I can pick up the pace on the break between this college period and the next one, it'll be a few months so we can celebrate christmas, etc. I'd say something comes out this december and there will be more consistent RR/SSN content for a while at the end of the year.

Hey,

(RR and SSN chapters) it's written and all the assets are done (finally) I'm waiting for my new computer to put the panels together, as I'll have to reinstall paint.net and tiled on it anyways. Give it two weeks or so.

Finally moving away from my current computer into something where I'm not actively suffering by using it.

I'm also working on a spider-man oc comic, on my phone, because I draw normal art on my phone lmao

Wow, this month has been a mess. I felt like everything was falling apart around me for a while there, sorry for the delay. So during my comeback from one hiatus, my electricity went out for a while - forcing me into another. Since uni started again I'll be a little slower now, but I can assure you I'll keep these chapters at least semi-consistent once every few weeks.

a water leak on my house that may lead to a dispute with the company who caused it. Won't elaborate further, new SSN and RR whenever I am able to finish them, shouldn't take too long.
